Any trade with Poole will come with extra players like Kuminga and possible multiple draft picks from the Warriors side.

Instead of sending Pascal to Portland, the idea of bringing Lillard to Toronto is pretty interesting. I think we could outbid other teams for him if we offered Barnes and OG (plus Boucher as salary filler). The question would be whether we'd still have enough talent to be a contendor. If not, we should obviously just keep our young guys.

Portland would have Simons / Sharpe / OG / Barnes + a high lotto pick. That would be a nice group to rebuild around.

Raptors lineup

Lillard / Flynn
FVV / Trent
Porter / #13 pick
Siakam / Achiuwa
Poeltl / Koloko

We'd be looking to re-sign all of our Free Agents in this scenario, with sign and trades for FVV or Trent also being options. For example, sign and trading FVV to Orlando for Cole Anthony, Gary Harris, and Chuma Okeke would help add some depth and balance the roster a bit.

Ok, so this is clearly a bad idea. Lillard is really fun though, he pairs well with Siakam, and I'd enjoy watching him play.

OP you should know better.

Unless the player is an MVP or at bare minimum, a flawless young prospect, this board is just going to **** on the idea.

I’m not arguing if Poole would be a good get or not, just saying it’s pointless to even bother. We hate everyone and would rather complain (and be stuck with) our flawed players.

We need shot creators and Poole has the potential to be one of the best in the league.
With that being said, he also has the potential to be one of the worst defenders in the league.

However, he's only 23 and is coming off a season where he averaged 20ppg. Mentally he was out of sorts from the start of the season after getting punched by Draymond. Some nights he looked like the next Curry, while other nights he looked like Will Barton. A change of scenery would greatly benefit him and I'd welcome him on this team.

Replacing Trent with Poole is definitely an upgrade. And I love Trent but Poole is slightly better at the moment with a much higher ceiling as well.

Yeah it's like buying low on Poole after a bad playoffs, knowing the potential he has shown before. Not for Pascal or OG though. Is there another way to get him?
