It's big because Philly have not done it for over 20 years. If they lost this game, they would regret their performance in G6. They were tight as ****. Understandable tho as the expectations were too high.

Let's go get G7 at TD Garden.

The team is going to be looking to PJ Tucker for inspiration and he is going to give this speech. So yes fam so I allowed Durant just a little more space and he took it. And that's how we went on to win the NBA championship. It's a game of inches guys a game of inches. Close out on the 3's and make them long 2's.

I have no sympathy for this team or their stars right now. They had an opportunity to close the series out at home and wilted in the biggest moments which has been proven to be the case with these guys every playoff. Now they will have the tall task of trying to close out against the better team also rivals at their home. I will be at work so I won't be able to watch and I'm not dissapointed. I won't be checking either just dvr and when I check to see if they lost or not , I won't be surprised or emotionally disturbed by the results lol

It's on ABC - if we get Breen and Co. it's a win, but if they stick us with Jones and Burke yet again I won't feel too good about it.

Harden needs to be aggressive from the start. When he drives the ball moves around better. He needs to take his shots early too to get in a groove. The gravity then opens up Maxey and others and then they play in rhythm. What Embiid said was true for his first points but I would only use him for closing games when we have a solid lead and when things inevitably slow down late in the 4th quarter. This next win will be determined by Harden.

JVG on vacation or something? Kinda weird to not have the full buddy cop duo of JVG & Jackson.

So grateful to avoid Doris tho, I full on hate her after last game. She was ready to award Tatum a Purple Heart after he had the “courage” to keep jacking up shots.

At this point it doesn't matter how long or tough this series have been, all that matters is Embiid finally getting out of the damn **** 2nd round, it's about time, Hinkie died for this!

I thought the same thing, very odd for Van Gundy not to be there.

I couldn't handle another game of Doris' imperious lecturing. Nice to be able to watch the game without constantly hitting the mute button.

Yeah. That 2 big lineup hurts that though, so I think first and foremost we need those support pieces to actually make those wide open 3s to really open things up against them.

I don't care how anyone else plays Embiid better have more then his season averages on good percentages. People can slag Harden all the want but he has literally won two games for them in this series. Lets see the MVP come through in the biggest game of his career. Im done if we get another so so game with bad body language and the sad face presser afterwards after we lose. Done! If this team can't get it done I don't see a path to a better chance so might as well blow things up. Harden is going to get you pennies on the dollar in a trade and you can justify resgining him at his age if they wont be good enough to get past the second round.

Gotta disagree with this take. Offensively Tatum is having a much worse series than Embiid. And yet why are we tied 3-3? Because Tatum has more teammates that can be relied upon to carry the scoring load when he is struggling than Embiid does. If the Celtics lose, should they trade Tatum and blow it up?

Harden has been feast or famine this series. Maxey has also struggled until the last 2 games. Also as great as his defense on Tatum has been, Harris has been virtually a non-factor on offense. Remember we're paying him $38 million. Is that worth for a guy whose role has pretty much been reduced a defensive specialist?

My point is let's surround Embiid with better fitting pieces and more depth before we decide to blow it up.

You’re not going to win with this mindset.

NBA is a superstar league. If they sense you are a fraud, you wont get favored by the refs because you’ll messed up the TV ratings of the next series.

Look at who’s beating teams?
Jokic.
Booker in R1.
LeBron’s resurgence.
Tatum G6.
Harden G1&G4.
Jimmy Butler.

Thats the headline they want.

As much as Biid is playing well and better than Tatum. He’s still not as good as Jokic in the playoffs. No 50pt game. No ATG statline.

10-20 years down the road. Nobody will want to watch NBA greatest game of Tobias Harris or Maxey dropping 30.

That’s why my favorite player in this team in this year’s playoffs is Harden. Because he’s the only guy who can do that on our team now.

I know Embiid is better than and can take his game higher. But he needs to have some accountability. It’s not like he dropped 50pts 12rebs and 5 blocks and yet we lose.

He dropped below his reg season average in G6. He also missed key shots in crunch time (hook shot and mid range at around 5 minute mark).

If Biid drops Jokic level statline, im sure we’re gonna win G7.

Jokic 50 pt game in a loss where he played horrendous defense. That should be specified when comparing Embiid and Jokic in this playoffs where Embiid had been arguably the best defender along with playing solid offense.

Sixers are pretty much universally hated by the media. Only one I can think of who likes them is Legler. We will 100% be the heel if we ever make it to the finals.

You know what's going to happen? We're going to win tomorrow. Why? We win every game when no one has any expectations.

Game 1: Not going in to Boston short handed and coming out with a win. Harden masterclass. Win.

Game 2: MVP Joel is back, we can take a 2-0 lead!!! Lmao hold this L brotha.

Game 3: MVP Ceremony, Arthur and Embiid pre-game. EASY WIN. Nope, another L.

Game 4: These losers went down 2-1 after the hopes were so high following game 1? It's over. Of course a W

Game 5: No way we beat Boston at home for a second time. Going to be another long offseason. DUB.

Game 6: SIXERS IN 6 BABY, WE AINT LOSING 2/3 AT HOME. Biggest loser performance of all time. L of biblical proportions. What's worse? King loser energy Tatum comes up clutch.

Game 7: Season over, no way these frauds win 3/4 games in Boston.

You know the drill. Sixers in 7, bitches.

The Celtics have been the favorite to win the title the entire playoffs, except between games 5 and 6. Home court advantage isn’t moving the line very much, so it was pretty obvious that the Celtics, the odds-on favorite to win the title and a core of players who were in the conference finals 4 of last 6 years, would be favored every game.

Since the Bucks were eliminated, the likely winner of the Sixers-Celtics series has been the odds-on favorite to win the title. The Sixers and the Nuggets had identical title odds for a period of time last week, so Vegas has pretty consistently seen the Celtics as the favorites, with the Sixers and Nuggets second.

Considering the Celtics recent playoff successes and the Sixers inability to get out of the second round, Vegas had to set a line that would bring money in on the Sixers side. As of last night 75-80% of bettors were on the Sixers, so Vegas has been adjusting the line accordingly. The Sixers are obviously good, but not going to be favored against the Celtics when considering the history between the two cores.

Vegas is amateur hour that favors the propaganda machines. When the Lakers acquire Russell Westbrook they jumped up to one of the Finals favorites for no other reason other than they're the Lakers. Vegas is not indicative of reality.

Embiid is the reason the Celtics cannot score inside just like AD is the reason the Lakers are in the conference final.

Looking at statlines it's fine but saying stuff like this when we hold them to less than 100 pts it's super hilarious to me when in the next line you say that if Maxey or Harris drop 30 no one would care.

At the end of the day if you want Embiid to drop 60 and then allow the Celtics to drop 120 on our ass be my guess. We always knew Embiid cannot play the 48 minutes and it's difficult for a big to have the burden to anchor a defense and be a an all time USG guy

Last thing, i agree that the NBA is a superstar league and Jokic is a candidate for the best player in the NBA but ratings? lol
