We adjusted in the second half against it.
Rob Williams was -5 NetRtg on vs off. Their starting unit was a 0 NetRtg, where the 5 man unit that really beat us was with Brogdon, instead of Rob Williams with 75NetRtg.
We also generated a lot of good looks with Rob Williams in the second half.
If there’s anything to figure out next game is, whats the plan B if our shooting wont drop. Do we explore playing Milton and Korkmaz? Do we run actions and let Embiid do his thing against multiple defenders?
I hope Celts run double big next game. I just hope we make our open corner 3s, compared to last game.
???
Rob Williams has the best +/- of the entire game with Smart, mostly because of the first quarter. And yet, his +/- in the third quarter is +2 and we won that quarter by 9. Most of our big runs happened with Williams out of the floor.
The Robert Williams unit you highlighted played 5 minutes in the second half and their Netrtg was 0, which happened because timelord minutes were mostly paired with Embiid. Do you know what's our starting unit Netrtg in the second half? -25....
Even with Niang out there our offrtg is 94.7 pts and that's the lineup with more minutes, i doubt Niang is gonna become a Tatum stopper again like he was in that game. We obviously need a serious adjustment for the double big lineup tomorrow if we even want to even come close to sniff a win.
We generated good looks on the corner by design, they are giving us the corner 3, if you look at a map of open shoots you're gonna see majority of them are on the corner because they don't care.
PJ took 7 3s and he's a low-volume shooter, we have 34 3s in that game, he took almost 1/5 of our entire shoots.
