Who is Curry closer to in terms of overall impact?

Shaq’s peak is goat-ish level, I don’t think Curry nor Durant are even close to that.

Peak wise Curry’s overall impact is closer to Durant. Shaq’s impact is GOAT level.

I think I have Curry (14-16) between Shaq (8th) and Durant (20-22) on my all-time list, meaning that he's still closer to Durant in terms of career value.

I know Durant's flaws but how is Curry, going by careers obviously, even ranked higher than Durant? Curry is great and has been a revelation of sorts but he's been great since 2015 and very good since his second season though not more than allstar type before 2015. Durant was a superstar from year 2 or 3.

Neither is more than top 20 and top 15 is hard to justify.

and by "goat-ish", do you mean nowhere near?

Because he gets obliterated by his own contemporary(lebron) by virtually any emperical approach(yes that includes 1-year). He looks similarly valuable to Duncan in the regular season without peak timmy's postseason elevation(again, making it 1-year doesn't help). And he was consistently worse in the regular season than KG.

If a weak argument for being distant second in your era is "goat-ish" level, then Curry is "goat-ish" level too
