Yeah, and heading into G6 it was hard to expect that were are going to win three games in a row against them. But I would not say that there is less pressure now for the Sixers as some are saying. For starters, if Rivers loses, he's probably gone. On the bright side, if Tobias scored 2 points last game, I guess there is not much room to be worse, he can't score negative points

The game is 10.30 PM to me in Istanbul today. And I’m still undecided whether to watch it or not.

My wife and kid are in Korea for vocation, so I’m all alone. Going to the park rn to reed a book, but all I really think about is how I will feel if the Sixers lose. I’m not optimistic at all, but we’ll see.

This sounds weird but if you want to remove that stress, watch G6 again. If you dont have time, just watch the 2nd half. Honestly, ive watched it 3x already. 2nd and 3rd time made me come out more confident we’ll win this where we’ll shoot hotter than fish grease.

Try to watch some movies on streaming sites. I just watched Air and Pope’s exorcist. Now watching the covenant. Lmao

Then later tonight we’re gonna dine out with my family. Take some melatonin. Sleep 2-3 hours and wake up at 330am to watch the game. Feels like we’ll win this one. I like how the game ended, specially for casual fan’s impression.

You have a very good mental health lol.

I’ve been able to watch it Friday morning in repeat until Tatum 3PT over Embiid for Boston to take 1-pt lead. I just knew it was over, closed the game and opened the scoreboard lol.

Okay, I’ll watch it.

About 9 hours before tipoff. Let’s go Sixers!

Game will be at 5:30am in the morning here in Australia.

Not watching it as much as I'd love to. A loss might ruin the whole Monday when I am the busiest at work lol.

Sending postive vibes to the team, Harden, Embiid, Maxey, Tobi, Tucker, Melton, Niang and Doc, please give us all you have and will this team to a victory. Harden, Please turn up like the G1, G4 and G5 Harden. No more G2, G3 and G6 bullcrap.

Tobi has to be a factor offensively, he played well defensively but was terrible offensively. It's emperative that him and Tucker knock down open 3's.

If Tucker is not hitting the corner 3 he has to come off the floor. Whether it's for House , Niang or Melton...

Lol, 2:30 am here in Jakarta. I'm getting up at 3:30 to watch it, on delay, and then catch up at the half.

Tucker’s misses in the first half were in and outs. Melton’s misses were bad. Tucker’s misses to end the game were bad. That possession when Harden tried to drive against Al, were it was initially called for a foul but overturned after Celts challenged, Biid was asking for the ball at the right wing.

It feels like its one of those games when we came from behind then we’re just 1-2 shots away from throwing a dagger and we had a LOT of chances. You can see the fear from Tatum’s face, even he thought they’d lose the game

If Harden and Joel come out aggressive and hit some early buckets we got this. The Boston crowd perpetually poops itself when they sense any danger.

I agree but Brown did call out the Boston crowd and implored them to show up for this game.

but for my mental health (shout outs to Ben), I will not be watching this one.

I legit turned into a rage monster at the end of last game lol..can't do that again on mothers day of all days too.

I will probably scoreboard watch because I am a sick individual but unless by some grace of god we are up by a bunch in the 4th...I cannot actually watch this time.

This can go a few ways...either the Celtics have found their mojo and its a blowout...or they also feel the pressure in front of their home fans and play tight. Despite the above angst..It does seem like we have figured something out defensively that causes problems tho....but you have to wonder how much of that is variance? Feels like shooters are still open...just missing. I am glad I won't be able to see what feels like the inevitable Horford hits 10 3s game lol.

As for our offense? I just want the big two to go out swinging if nothing else. Biid has been too tentative and soft at times IMO. Harden still relies on the 3 going in and the double big lineup will curtail his drives so even more so. But this is put up or shut up time for both....if we lose due to the Celts going on a heater I need both to still have 30 a piece at least...this CANNOT be an effort loss.

But again I won't put actual eyes on it...gonna only look at this game if we are up by a sizable amount with a minute left...I think I did the same last year in the raptors game (then Biid got his face broke lol....so maybe I'll wait a bit still).

They crushed my soul last game....got to recharge away from it this time ha

sports are dumb

I would've felt the same 25-30 years ago, but pro sports has become such a mess of money and mercenary players that it's been hard to get really emotionally invested in a long time. I weeped with joy when the Sixers beat Boston in very similar circumstances in 1982, and may have shed a tear or two after 4th and 26 and when the Eagles won in 2017, but that was probably a result of a lifetime of living and dying with the Birds.

I had a major emotional attachment to that '70's-'80's Sixers group that I don't to these guys (40 years of age and cynicism will do that), but winning in Boston in front of that awful, scummy crowd is something that could never get old.

The Scott Foster news is a legit gut punch lol

I hope this at least is a signal to Harden that foul baiting is off the table. We got hard to the rim looking to finish or don’t bother.

Couldn't even just go Scott Foster they had to throw in Eric Lewis onto the crew as well. Adam Silver not even pretending.
