TNT constantly talked about how dumb we are, KAT was horrendous compared to his best self, Gobert was hurt the first couple of games, we were missing guys. That was a really bad series for us but we still played hard after game 1 and we almost took it to 6 games.

If we had a full roster, team cohesion, and Towns wasn't crap on offense (Though he did have some good defensive possesions, overall wasn't great though), we could have been really competitive. I always felt like we were around the Lakers level and look how far the are going right now.

That could have been us if we could have gotten the two big thing to work and Towns showed up.

I think the biggest thing this season and playoffs have shown me is that our issues were a consistency issue and not an ability issue. Consistency only comes through time and repetition.

I do think we have a massive fit issue that may not be resolvable without a trade but we absolutely do also have a consistency issue. My only hope is there were some flashes with Rudy and KAT playing together but not much. I'm also very worried about KAT and his playoff game, I wasn't worried in his first series against Houston but now every post season he has struggled a ton. The one positive is I think he did way better with the refs but he still racked up fouls.

I remain flummoxed the Lakers are this good. I really thought we were a little bit better than them, even after the trade but these guys are in the coference finals. Wow. They were also SO FAR behind us in the standings all season until the 5-6 weeks. They were dead in the water, might be the biggest turn around I have seen.

Refs help plus luck getting choked memphis and then mostly washed golden state. Denver should win pretty convincingly.

What ever happened to small ball wins playoff games? GSW got out man by Lakers again. DLo actually played well tonight. Time to trade Gobert to GSW :D

If you remember my post... watch out for the Lakers. They will catch up... :D

LOL I still think its way easier than going with bigs but AD was playing like a mega star too for a lot of this series. When he plays like that I think he might be the best prototype to break that mold. No matter what now we are going to get one elite big in the finals between AD and Jokic.

The Lakers are playing small ball. Davis was traditionally a 4 now playing a 5. They had LeBron at the 4. They just have two wings which can play in between the 3-4 with Vanderbilt and Hachimura. That gives the Lakers flexibility but it's still technically small ball as there is no true center. In fact, this past game Schroeder and DLo started at the 1&2, with Reaves at the 3.

It is small ball, Davis (6'11) and LeBron (6'9) are just bigger and taller than Wiggins (6'8) and Draymond (6'7).

Ever since the trade deadline, maybe we shouldn't have made that trade. I do think Hachimura and DLo have been phenomenal for them this past series, and Vanderbilt played well in the first series.

The irony of this post is that the Los Angeles Lakers swapped Jarred Vanderbilt for Dennis Schroeder in the starting lineup for game six. They actually leaned into a particularly small lineup.

All former MIN players Wiggins, Okogie, DLo, Vando, Beasley are playing in playoffs exactly the same as they did in here MIN. No regrets whatsoever.

Yes, because Lakers finally figured out DLo is not a point guard and Vanderbilt couldn't hit a three and they needed more outside D which 3 bigs cannot provide. Don't tell me you want the 4 big lineup too. Schroeder and Reaves played well and was key of their run

What is your definition of small ball? Bill Russell was only 6-10, but he sucks because he gets out scored by other centers and benefited by the system, Willis Reed and Moses Malone are also listed as 6-10. LBJ needs the ball but can't play the 3 anymore. They actually don't want Davis at 5 but had no choice and can get away with it with GSW. The announcer said at one point "LeBron post up and Davis in the middle" and Lakers score an easy basket.

Wiggins is a NBA champ. D'Lo and Jimmy are in Conference finals. Wolves, meanwhile, are enjoying their vacation in Cancun. No regrets, sure.

Because trading Wiggins and Russell really impacted our playoff chances. Give me a break.

Think Suns firing Monty is a mistake. Coaches get the boot as soon as a team takes a step back.

Apparently Matt Ishbia has (effectively) taken over Phoenix's decision-making. Not good when owners start wheeling and dealing, Minnesota is fortunate that the new ownership doesn't seem to be as problematic.

Monty Williams is a good coach and even better person; he will land on his feet. Phoenix's trajectory is pretty concerning.

I can't believe Ja is in trouble again for something so stupid. I get sick of KAT and his on court issues, the team this year ended the season as a total clown show with the punching incidents but I am so happy we don't have to deal with what Memphis is going through right now. Also I really appreciate how great Towns have been off the court, never a problem. People talk crap about him steaming videogames but that's a hell of a lot better than going to strip clubs brandishing weapons and threatening people.
