Mods can delete this, but a while ago I bought a heavy dissociative that I’ve been too scared to try. Tonight I will be taking that dissociative.

It's crazy. They were playing so well. Completely locked in on defense, getting great shots on offense despite Harden and Embiid playing terribly. That play really did change the game. Went from what could have been a 10 point game (Brown's back was to Harden and he had a half step on him!) to a 2 point game in a second.

Both teams are frontrunners. We had a chance to make it a double digit game. Sigh

It's not that they are losing, it is the way they are and how Joel has come up so small. You are the biggest player on the court. You have 4 rebounds and 13 points though 3. Not good enough.

Harden dosent even deserve the mid level exception at this point. Embiid and harden had epically broken games.. wow

Why would Harden opt out? Who is dumb enough to pay him 30+ mil for 2 years when he'll make 30+ mil next year?

The big question is do we re-tool around Maxey/Embiid or rebuild around Maxey?

If Harden leaves we're screwed because we're still capped out.

We cannot re-tool at this point

He's a superstar. You don't trade them unless they ask out. I personally don't see Embiid as the problem. The main problem I see is that we don't have a closer on this team that can take over a game. Harden was supposed to provide that, Maxey is a scorer, but not in that sense. We have issues to fix and some hard decisions to make this summer. I don't know if trading Embiid is the right call, but it could happen I guess.

The saddest part to me is in theory we still are Embiid and 4??? Question marks in all other positions.

Won’t blame the big guy if he wants a trade either. In fact it’s better for his career to do that. At some point it’s tine to move on.

Wait what? Embiid did not have a great showing this series. He can't blame everyone around him this time.

We’ve done a disservice to him throughout the whole time. It’s revisionist history but a small change such as keeping bridges would have made a world of difference. We had a gold mine of assets and opportunities. Literal picks, players the whole works

We’ve been a bottom 3 FO in organisation this whole time it reeks of malpractice

Even normal people would want out. To me the Sixers is not a place to be excited by. We’ve proverbially sh*t the bed so many times.

Embiid is gonna feel the full negativity of this city after this. Even if he’s not traded this next season (and he won’t be) this the beginning of the end of his time here. Sad stuff.

You will get accused of trolling if you do that, but it's the sensible thing to do, he is just another player in playoffs (and not in a good way).

Embiid would return a haul of a package. Let Harden walk. Harris is an expiring. Maxey, I don't care what they do with him, he will continue to get abused on defense in the playoffs.

James doesn't care. He spends more time in strip clubs than he does in gyms.

Embiid probably cares, but he says the right things and vows to be better and then just sucks every postseason all over again.

no harden is better at this time. im fine with embiid goin for 40 a game and maxey takin 10 more shots

What's the point though? every season extra with Embiid here, his value diminishes fast, he is injury prone and is a huge big man that will be 30 next season, if we aren't gonna win with him, why not trade him after an MVP season? he still has fairly high value, it's now or never, we should have experience with Okafor, Simmons, and now Embiid, if you wait, you will have worse offers, it is what it is, the time is this offseason.

There are consequences for this in good, winning organizations. This is not one of them, so I'm not confident the right moves will be made.

Also, I said the other day that losing this series is worse than Atlanta. Had we beaten the Hawks, We still would have to beat the Bucks and the Suns instead of the Heat and homecourt in the NBA finals.

Anyways..

Yeah, that really was it. Harden lost the ball going up for a shot because he was more focused on Brown then he was actually scoring and making a play. For some reason that totally took the air out of our team. After that Boston went on a tear and hasn't let up. This really is sad because I thought we'd at least put up a decent fight. We haven't even been doing that since that flagrant foul call.

Sixers need to recognize that the only way to come back is to spam 3s. Shoot them early and often, because they also need this game to be as many possessions as possible.
