The Sixers better think long and hard before offering Harden a contract.

Just noticed from the box that Tatum also had ZERO turnovers. Yowza.

Joel Embiid in win-or-go-home games:
22/11.2/2 on 39% FG / 26% 3pt

3-6 record

It's a job...wish people would realize fans care more than the players like 99% of the time. This is their job, they want to win of course, but at the end of the day, they are still living a great life and want for nothing.

I wish people would realize that caring about losing is what separates the winners from the losers. They are all making millions. The guys that live and breathe basketball and leave it all on the court are usually the all time greats with titles.

Tbh one of the more common traits in the most competitive and successful athletes I've noticed is they hate losing even more than they enjoy winning.

The difference between Kobe Bryant vs. say 'Melo. 'Melo had more natural talent than Kobe imo, but Kobe put in loads more work than any of his peers and it showed in what he was able to accomplish as a basketball player.

They have an all-nba first team payer, an all-nba second team player, An all-defense player, and the six man of the year. That’s a lot of accolades for a team.

Not to mention they were somewhere around top 5 in offense and defense this year I believe? As well as top in point differential which are both usually strong indicators of a team very likely to win a championship.

Somebody is just in their feelings at the moment is all.

Matty with just a bad take. Brogdon freaking comes of the bench on that team, he would be top 3 guy on most teams probably, seriously. Smart, was he even top 3 perimeter defender on that team this year? No huge big men star, but team is deep on all positions basically. Grant barely plays, he is basically AMerican version of Kleber, a solid player who supposed to save Dallas defense. Well, on Celtics, such a guy doesnt even get playing time...

This team might look weaker historically, because it is young still and their players arent legends yet, thats it, that is the reason you think that. It is like Timmy, Manu, Parker and Bowen before they won together, or smth like that, 20 years later, no one thinks they were weak.

I know Doc Is the fallout guy but games like this, it just seems like players win and lose the game, not the coach. Throwing the ball away, shooting airballs... A coach can't fix that.

The top 3 players in on/off per 100 in the playoffs for the Sixers were McDaniels, Melton, and Reed.

Doc isn’t nearly creative enough to know how to deploy them to positive impact with regular rotational run (unlike Spo who would have a clearly defined role for all three) but at least he had the presence of mind to keep Korkmaz glued to the bench for most of it lol.

I give Doc all the credit in the world for getting James to play solid team defense for a full season. I thought that was beyond impossible like getting him to understand the value of playing off ball. You can trust that at Harden’s next stop it will be contractually stipulated that he doesn’t play a single lick of D. He’s gonna put the final nail in the coffin that his legacy is in but f him, we gonna get his defensive blooper reels back for gut-busting laughs!

And no it wouldn't be the weakest, hell not even the weakest in the last 3 years. That would belong to Los Angeles.

If the Celtics do go on to win it all this year, they would be a solid champion. Get over it.
