Sixers will win today, but (to be fair) that's only because Celtics got a really bad coach, from what I've seen this team is not championship caliber unfortunately, Embiid cannot be best player in a championship team, Harden is too unreliable, Maxey is still not that guy (but is definitely trending in the right direction I must admit).

This is preposterous and Im as negative as anyone on here when I need to be. The Celtics are the best team in the playoffs imo so if the Sixers beat them they have a good shot at winning the title. Mazula is no worse then most of the coaches left. Id take him over our clown. I dont see us winning just based on the numbers however. Game 7's on the road are really hard to win and there honestly is zero evidence an Embiid led team wins a game like this.

Not to mention embiid bringing the sixers back to life in Philadelphia. People want to call the process a failure so bad but will praise teams like the Kings for finally making the playoffs. So no, it's not a failure. I had fun and was entertained. That's the whole point of sports.
The whole point of the process was to win a championship. Hinkie made that crystal clear when he burned it all down and built up a war chest of draft picks.
But I disagree with OP. Losing to the Celtics doesn't mean the process failed. The process ended after Hinkie was forced to resign. There's an alternate universe where that doesn't happen and the Sixers don't die a death of a thousand cuts from poor management. The damage was done between nepo baby and Elton Brand. It's hard to see where Morey can take the team from here.

The process failed because of Bryan Colangelo. The NBA really screwed over the Sixers and Hinkie forcing him out.

Re-read my OP - I mentioned that the process was sabotaged.

This is false. The process ended when Hinkie was forced out. Today is not an indictment of the process. It is an indictment of nepotism and bad management.

Would guess unless Miami upsets Boston, Joel ends up in Miami with his buddy Himmy for Bam and Herro. Doc is gone, Tobias gets moves by the deadline. Harden is resigned. Don't want the Harden part but I don't think Morey has it in him to not try it his way imo

We chose the wrong player to build around. And we compounded it every year.

Read his post - Bam and Herro. Not saying it's right or will happen, but the post was clear.

The Process failed first and foremost because of the filthy snake Adam Silver. He is the one who brought the Colangelos in after hijacking the organization. Bryan Colangelo was just the next step in the destruction of everything Hinkie built.

Ah I read it wrong, thought he said team up with them. Add in 3 first round picks as well for Bam and Herro lol.

In my personal opinion, Embiid, is mentally immature and lacks leadership.

This a million billion times. This team was in a space where mistakes could be made but you could still recover from them. In a blink of an eye only mistakes were made and all the assets were squandered. After Hinkie left this team became a rudderless ship. And this is not to say Hinkie never made mistakes. He did, but the thing was he always had a backup plan, if this did not work he was ready to pivot to something else. After Hinkie there was no backup plan no pivot.
