There's no excuse to have poor effort/intensity in a game 7. Just accept they don't have what it takes. Not everyone is cut out to win a championship. If they just pass it off as not our year or something like that, it means they DGAF as they cash in millions regardless if they win or lose.

Exactly right. A true leader will take the fault all on themselves when they lose but will credit teammates when they win. It is a team sport but you got a max contract for a reason.

Awesome Tatum and excellent defensive game from the whole Boston team, a well deserved win.

Part of me was hoping for a Harden redemption game, but he really disappointed me. Shooting poorly is one thing, but being scared to shoot is much worse when your role is to be one of the main scorers. On so many of his drives he was in a good position to attempt a shot but instead kicked it out for another brick from 3 even when it became clear his teammates were shooting poorly. And some of his turnovers were just inexcusable.

Embiid was pretty terrible on both ends. You can't have such a game as the MVP even if you aren't 100%.

Boston is 21-3 in games refereed by Eric Lewis over the last four seasons. If the Sixers were 21-3 in games refereed by Eric Lewis over the past 4 seasons and there was a picture of his family all decked out in Sixers gear, you'd be livid that he was officiating today's game 7.

I mean what game were you watching? It was clear as day that Eric Lewis made Embiid and Harden choke and not be able to score to save their lives.

It's a job...wish people would realize fans care more than the players like 99% of the time. This is their job, they want to win of course, but at the end of the day, they are still living a great life and want for nothing.

I wish people would realize that caring about losing is what separates the winners from the losers. They are all making millions. The guys that live and breathe basketball and leave it all on the court are usually the all time greats with titles.

The difference between Kobe Bryant vs. say 'Melo. 'Melo had more natural talent than Kobe imo, but Kobe put in loads more work than any of his peers and it showed in what he was able to accomplish as a basketball player.
