I'm sure you're mad because Ben looked bad on his exit here, Ben is not gonna make Aussies proud or anything, you can let it go

I doubt they trade Embiid. They will give it one more year with a new coach and a new co-star. Everything else is on the table.

I've said all year that Morey is a fraud. He should be canned immediately with Doc.

But at least we got under the luxury tax.....sigh....

I know it sucks but we aren't trading Embiid. I don't want to trade Embiid. He's our superstar. For better or worse, he's Philly. I'll go down with the ship.

I really don’t see how the quote is out of context. Maybe he’s correct in some abstract sense that everyone needs to be better, but it was the wrong time to make that point. Should have just continued to eat **** instead.

He's saying everyone has faults and that he needs to be better, he even said he's responsible as the suppossed best player in the team.

I'm really tired of everyone misquoting him, he played like a sore loser today yes, but this is like the 3rd time an exit quote from him gets misconstructed

Imagine being an agile 7 footer and putting up 15 points on 5/18 shooting in a game 7.

There is not a team with a contending shot that would accept that.

Looking at getting draft picks in return, and not that many of them, unfortunately. Maybe 2 firsts and a bum player for Embiid.

I gotta say... Embiids comments really show how much of a loser he is. Sixers arent winning **** with him as the #1.

I'm not an Embiid fan but this talk of trading him is nonsense

Try another coach & hope he can get through through to him plus surround him with more complementary pieces

While I feel your frustration… Rudy frigging Gobert returned 5 players and 4 1st round picks plus a swap.

Joel just won MVP.

Where is the misquote though? I understand what he’s saying, but from a purely PR perspective he should have kept it at “this one was on me.”

From a PR perspective he's trying to appease Harden to stay, which is whatever IMO, but it's the goal of saying stuff like this.

His quote alone, while real and accurate, leaves out all the context of why he said it. I agree Jo would’ve been much better served to just eat the poop sandwich a few times and exit stage left.

You just know we're going to get D'Antoni and that's going to be the "big move" of the offseason, lol.
