All Harden would do is make them a little better and hurt their lottery chances the next couple seasons. Plus, he'd require a massive contract. It makes zero sense from their perspective.

This is his agent game to take max from Morey and Harris

The one somewhat realistic trade option for Embiid is OKC. I don't even need SGA.

They have Giddey, Holmgren, Dort and tons of draft picks. Some combo of that is intriguing to me.

think they'd go all in for a younger star to match timelines. Probably waiting for Luka

OKC is a young, super fun team that whips the ball around. They have an exciting future and a ton of opportunities to get better over the next couple years. Would be malpractice to trade a bunch of those assets for Joel Embiid.

I think Morey is going to play this game;:
-fire Rivers
-keep Embiid, Tucker and Maxey
-keep Harden

Search all the trades for Tobias but keep him. Trade Tobias At all star break for another star.

Is it really me or good wine in Istanbul bar?

he;s super washed and him and Maxey would be the smallest backcourt ever lol

If we get CP3 it should be for a bench role ala Lowry in Miami. He can't start with Maxey.

If someone could put a shock collar on Westbrook that prevented him from shooting further than 5 feet out I'd like him  . He is a max effort player at least and is tough.

It should be a 3 way where we get to replenish some pics and maybe a young asset. Don’t need Cp3 at this point.

Just a spineless, mentally weak team, from coach to players. Has been the case for years.

Aside from Maxey and PJ who play with some form of grit and enthusiasm and heart. Even Niang fits in there somewhere believe it or not. Just give me some passion ffs.

The rest go through the motions.

How you gonna play a game 7 in Boston ...your main rival ... like your ass cheeks are clapped holding in explosive diarrhea.

An embarrassing performance for the ages. I'm disgusted.

I don't see any star free agent going to OKC. Only way they are getting that type of player is via trade.

Agree I prefer to move CP3 to a 3rd team in any Harden deal. He does nothing for us at this point.

Dame should be the #1 target. Embiid is still maturing. His play was terrible and body language was not great, but you don't trade Embiid. The problem was moving all those chips for Harden. I wish we moved Ben in that Haliburton deal instead but we did not. Hopefully with Dame getting another year older we can try to pry him away.

Move Harden for something in a S&T with the Suns. We need assets

Trade Tobi for some A-Holes like Marcus Smart/PJ Tucker that can keep the intensity up in these games and maybe a projected late 1st in the future to get something in the war chest. Get a new coach and start fresh.

This plus Luka and SGA are both PGs. I'm not sure either would be as effective if they moved off ball.

It's kind of interesting how just a few weeks ago if you asked Embiid or Jokic, it would be seen as bordeline trolling, but now it doesn't seem like it's even a question...

This all starts with Harris. They will never win with him as an owner. Ask yourself this. If the Mavericks under Cuban had this type of collapse year after year, if he'd just keep things status quo. Even when the Mavs make moves that don't work out, at least they try. Great owners don't stand for this. And if they hire a GM who can't get it done, they'll keep looking for someone who can.

There's no doubt in my mind it will be business as usual down there. Everyone's job is safe(except maybe Rivers). Morey has a cushy job for life, he'll never be fired. And he can just continue on with his uninspired blase attitude and look for the next ex-Rocket to add to the roster.

If James walks, what does our cap situation look like?

The only rabbit in the hat move I can think of that Morey could maybe do would be to pursue Kyrie Irving in a S&T. The Sixers were rumored to be interested in him last year. Morey might be desperate and think he has no other options to get a star caliber player and be crazy enough to take a chance on a guy who himself is crazy. Kyrie is a team destroyer, but at least he's performed well in the playoffs.

It seems like Dallas is set on keeping him, but maybe Morey will try and lure him in a sign and trade if Dallas is fronting about wanting to keep him.

Other than that, don't see many options.

Cuban has fumbled the bag ever since their chip tho...always chasing stars and never getting them; he lucked into Luka and is in the process of fumbling that.
