He’s like 5’6 tall isn’t he? I think his listed height is generous. I aint using the pick on him but definitely pick him up as undrafted free agent if he’s there. It’s known wolves need a backup pg so choosing the wolves should be a good chance for him. TBH Seeing him on the summer league team wolves team would be fun.

I absolutely love his game, but who was the last guy close to his size that made any kind of impact? Boykins? Spudd in the early 90s? I don't see those guys having any success in the current game.

I have a huge soft spot those Muggsy Hornets teams, but those were much more about Zo, Grandmama, Hersey, Gill, etc.

Isaiah Thomas is a name, albeit he was an inch or two taller than Markquis Nowell.

I'm not inherently against giving him a look, but I probably would pass on drafting him.

For anyone not familiar with his game.

Comparing the two in measurements

Height: Nowell two inches shorter
Weight: Nowell 26 lbs lighter
Wingspan: Nowell 1.25" shorter
Standing reach: Nowell 2.5" shorter
Body fat: Nowell 1.7% lower

Definitely is a bit of a long shot, but what sure things are there at 53?

I do find it funny that two of my favorites for 53 are 7-foot-3 Zach Edey and 5-foot-7 Markquis Nowell

I still think we move up early into round 2 using one or two of our future seconds

I’m pretty much all in on moving up to the very early second and getting Julian Strawther. Love his game.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

I hate that you mentioned him because I started watching highlights and now I hope we get him

My eye caught on to Strawther a couple months ago. I tried not to get too attached because I figured he'd rise in the draft process.

Note: He's likely a Top 10 pick

I thought so too but then realized the Bulls don’t have a first round pick either.

So if you’re the Jazz (9) or Raptors (13), you might want to meet with a guy to assess his value and fit if you were considering trading him. Ditto for the Bulls or Wolves, that might want to trade FOR him. I think we have pretty much played out all the Jazz-Wolves trade possibilities, but maybe he could be part of a deal with us and the Raptors. My best guess would be Towns for Siakim and this kid, and maybe more. Siakim might be as good as Towns, but his trade value is lower because he’s a flight risk.

It's probably nothing in the end, you're right. But the fact that he's known for his defense continues a point I've made often lately about how that seems to be the hallmark of this staff. How many poor defenders has Connelly brought in? Forbes might be the only one, unless you want to throw in two-way Ryan.

That should be noteworthy as we enter the draft cycle and free agency/trade periods.

It might signal the Bulls are shopping LaVine. It is odd that two (2) teams with no FRP would be interviewing a guy supposed to go around #10.

On a different note, Emoni Bates looked very good today and is probably moving towards the top of the 2nd Round.

For what it is worth, it is pretty common for teams outside of the Lottery to do their due dilligence on Lottery-level prospects.

I think it is interesting, but definitely don't read too much into it.

Apparently Anthony Black is a PG. The shot needs a lot of work and will probably never be a pull up shooter, but the rest of his game is pretty impressive.

It don’t matter if you’re Black or White

Does anyone have a list of players that are interviewing with the Wolves?
