His shooting improvement is really impressive.

Overseas trip in september = 4.5% from 3
OTE preseason in October = 11.1% from 3
OTE regular season = 30% from 3
OTE Playoffs = 39% from 3 (including 44.1% from 3 on 8.5 attempts per game during the last 4 playoff games)

That's some crazy improvement.

There is a small sample size issue on each of those splits, but the fact that the stroke looks better and is getting results is encouraging. I feel pretty confident that he will be able to punish teams going under on screens. Maybe not his rookie year, but soon, and that makes him a high lottery pick, not a mid or low lottery pick. I don't think Amen can do this, and for this reason, I have Ausar>Amen.

I watched a little game film of one of the OTE playoffs. One of the two played good D, the other was mediocre at best on D.

I like whichever one plays D... :D (Ausar I think)

Thompson twins with 7 foot wingspans, can't remember who told me that they "eyed it" and they had 6-8 wingspans at best lol.

Hell, watching the Thompson Twins play it wouldn't shock me if their wingspans are larger than expected. They both are menaces in passings lanes and they glide through the air and dunk like they are giving 10% effort. I doubt they are doing all that with "bad wingspans".

Actually who knows, maybe I have an eye for wingspans after all haha

It's very odd since they measured 6'9" and 6'10" wingspans just last year.

Amen has tiny hands apparently. Don't expect him to palm the ball.

6-6, 7 foot wingspan at point guard, not sure I care about his hand size at all that point lol.
- side note his hands are same size as Walker Kessler lol

That's legit insane that Kessler has such small hands, although AD also has tiny hands so I guess it happens.

7 foot wingspans with their athletic abilities is insane. Don’t know how you can justify drafting a tree stump like Scoot over them at this point.

People tell me "Amen is the point guard"

They have the same number of assists down to the **** decimal.

"Yeah, but Amen is the point guard"

Ausar's the better prospect imo and I've been saying this, better shooter and I never saw discernable differences in their playmaking tbh, or even their athleticism really, and Ausar just clocked in bigger hands and a better standing reach

This if both are basically mystery boxes with upside as their sell. I rather have the one with a bad but not broken shot than the one with completely broken shot mechanics

i'm not sold on either being a primary playmaker or lead guard for a team btw, probably secondary handlers, but I am sold more on Ausar being a connector piece potentially than Amen

Not all assists are equal. Watching them one is very obviously the better passer/PnR operator/higher feel between the two

Josh Jackass would still be in the league if he wasn't a dumbass. These kids have their heads screwed on straight.

Ya, their composure during the lotto interview last night was top notch. Hard to bet against kids like that.

Ausar plays defense and is locked in on that end.
Amen sort of floats around in the passing lanes.

I agree that Ausar is the better prospect.

That made me laugh out loud

Side note, I can totally see the Hornets talk themselves into a Thompson twin and trade down from 2 to 4

Did you watch the interview with them during the lotto? They are both incredibly well spoken for their age.
