Absolutely trash take

-SHULA

Top 75 player, former MVP, first ballot hall of famer. Herro will never have anywhere close to Harden’s resume. Hes not even as good as Harden today.

The problem with Herro is he can score and cant play defense. Only an idiot would replace him with an older washed player that can score and cant play defense

-SHULA

He averaged 21 points 10.7 assists and 6 rebounds a game in the regular season

And 21/8/6 in the post season.

His impact is still better than Herro even as a washed player.

Herro is a poor inefficient playoff performer. Averaging 41% fg, 31% from 3. 14 points per game, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in the playoffs.those are his career playoff stats. Hes on par with Tobias Harris

Give me washed Harden over Herro. And by the way, im not even suggesting trade Herro. Im saying, Herro goes back to sixth man where he is best at

I'd rather build the team the correct way and keep getting guys that fit our mold.

NO MORE DESPERATE MOVES

Herro is a special offensive talent but even he is a sore spot when attacked on defense.

NO MAS.

I TRUST IN SPO

How is Ja Morant still in the NBA?

https://theathletic.com/4157284/2023/02/05/pacers-grizzlies-laser-ja-morant-investigation/

Adam Silver needs to quit covering for this guy and ban him for life. No more suspensions. No more talks. No more counseling. He's proven to be a thug or wannabe thug, and he clearly runs with guys that are. He's had multiple incidents of violence with and without his crew, multiple incidents of menacing violence with and without his crew, multiple incidents of recklessly handling a firearm, and there was the incident above where Morant and his crew were credibly reported to have aimed a firearm at NBA players.

James Harden is the same age as Jimmy basically but:
- Jimmy: 754 games and 25002 minutes over 12 seasons
- Harden: 1000 games and 34752 minutes over 14 seasons
- Jimmy is in unbelievable shape. Harden is.. not
- Harden has played 157 games in the last 3 seasons, Jimmy has played 173. And we think Jimmy is unavailable
- Harden is known for his addiction to strip clubs. Is Miami the right place for him?
- Harden wants 3 or 4 year contract. Jimmy has 3 more years left and I think we can all assume the last year may not be all that fruitful at 37 years old.

All of the above tells me Hardens best years are behind him and saddling on to the ones coming may just kill the team.

So what that Doc got fired? That PHI core is never winning it all, doesn't matter who the coach is.

Doc rivers is arguably the most overrated coach of all time

It would take an NBA title this year for Spo to eclipse Doc Rivers on overall career playoff wins and join the Jackson/Pop/Riley pantheon of Top 4. Doc has 111 wins, Spo has 104 wins. 8 more. Doc does not belong. Let's make this right.

Spo has nothing to prove here, just to move up one spot. Spo has 104 playoff wins but he did it in a total of 172 play off games. Wilts Docs rivers has 111 but it took him 215 games to get an extra seven wins.

To put this in perspective, if Spo wins a championship and say every series goes a worse case maximum 7 games so he takes on 3 loses in each remaining series that means he would be sitting at 112 total wins, number 4 on the list in 186 playoff games. Again nothing to prove, however him getting the 4th spot means we won a championship, so yeah go get it Spo!!!

Also he is probably got another 15 more years in him of coaching at a high level. If Miami makes the playoffs 2/3 of the remaining tenure runs, and he at least gets to the second round on average, That's another 50-60 wins at a minimum. He could find himself 3rd on the list beating out Pat Riley, as I expect Greg Popovich to win a couple more playoffs games at some point prior to retiring, he is only two game behind Pat Riley.

Today may be the biggest day in the NBA for the next 15 years with some franchise winning the lottery enabling them to pick Victor Wembanyama at #1. Tonight, someone's franchise changes dramatically.

I can see Portland moving on from Dame in the offseason now. Draft Henderson and ship Lillard off for more picks/players to build around

I said it before during college basketball season and ill say it again, Brandon Miller will be the best player that comes out of this draft.

That game he had against Ole Miss. with the crowd roaring and cursing at him, chanting lock him up.. made the game tying shot to send it to OT and then the game winning shot.. he showed me character that no one else on this draft has shown. This guy has IT factor, mamba mentality

Media gives AD way too much flack. 18 points and carrying the offense atm. Reminds me of when Bosh used to be vilified when the team would be losing during big 3 years

Return to Miami Heat
