He really has no holes, no worries in his game. He's getting stronger, he's got incredible basketball IQ, he's not stagnating. Basically unless he gets injured or gets derailed by private stuff, he's going to hit.

Nah, this is where I think people are overrating his potential. Defensively I think he's gonna be All-Defense caliber the moment he steps on an NBA court due to the ridiculous size, mobility, and rim protection skills. But offensively, the guy is still pretty raw, not a good distance shooter (yet), and I'm just not seeing the court vision or play-making ability of a truly special big-man passer like Giannis, Sabonis, or even a dude like Bam. Best two-way player and therefore best overall player in the world is still his ultimate potential, but I think the step-back 3's and youtube crossover stuff has fooled people into thinking his offensive ceiling is like, GOAT tier and I think that's crazy.

Wemby has the better frame, but I can't help but think of Ralph Sampson. Will be interesting to see how Wemby plays 15' and in. Still think bigs are best situated within the paint and immediate neighborhood. If he becomes a supersized stretch 4, what's the fking point.

I wonder the hype there would be around Wembanyama if he was from NY and his name was Victor Williams. If this kid was american the hype would be Lebron x10

Sure, he'd have more hype if he was American and was on the AAU circuit, but he's already had one of his games on ESPN and he's been listed as the consensus #1 for at least the last two years. Like, he's not under discussed at all.

For this century, there's him and Bron in terms of prospects. He's literally covered as a generational pre-draft talent.

That's the comp. I don't trust his body. Just too much torque on those knees.

As gambling proliferates sportsbooks are getting greedier and greedier. Most bettors don't know what they're doing and just bet. For decades even money bets (sides and totals) were always -110. There was 10% juice. You had to win about 57% of your bets to break even. Now some books have games higher. -120 or even -130. You can't beat that juice. At Poto most are -110 but some aren't. And parlays/prop bets are the worst. The draft odds below are terrible.

It’s almost like these gambling companies are just in it for the money and don’t care about their addicted clientele not having any chance of really winning.

Remember when Reebok vs Nike was a thing? Like Sega vs Nintendo and VHS vs Beta? How'd they drop the ball so hard.

The Bulls will win so that the Mavs get punished and lose the pick for the blatant tank.

Would Portland winning the lotto increase or decrease the chances of us landing Lillard? I honestly am not sure.

If I have to see David Griffin hold up the #1 pick card again, I'm going to throw my remote.
