It's only a matter of time that he request for a trade because that will solve all of his personal problems. I love owning guns but there is a certain responsibility that comes with it.

:o

I suspect Grizzlies may move him before he can request anything.

He's a another in a long line of talented, immature, irresponsible prima donnas.

I'm more disappointed that his dad is such a huge part of his life and yet he hasn't managed to get the guy to chill out and make smarter long term decisions. If not for his image, then at least for his long term earning potential.

This is a multi-billion dollar business. Time to act like a grown up.

I wish Memphis the best of luck if they do move him because superstars won't be lining up to play for them. They will need to get lucky by way of the draft like their history shows.

Portland and Memphis would both benefit from swapping PGs.

Ja is less likely to get into trouble in a cold, NW city.

Lillard can lead a young, hungry, talented team to the holy land in a small market and cement his legacy.

I'm just glad Charlotte didn't get the #1 pick with an all time great prospect on the block.

Bad franchises ruin great, young players. And the Hornets are a legitimately bad franchise.

It could be the move Lillard need to have more success. However, I have always thought Lillard will eventually be on the Nuggets. Jokic and Lillard would be a nice duo.

I've always wondered about player compensation for playing postseason games.

Joe Vardon wrote:This year, the league will distribute about $27 million to teams that make the playoffs and advance through the season, according to data published by the league.

About $5 million of that is awarded based on where a team finished in the regular season (for instance, the Bucks will get $777,777 for winning the most regular-season games, and another $680,680 will go to them for finishing first in the East.)

The rest of the money, nearly $22 million, will be doled out based on playoff results (the teams split the money among 15 players on guaranteed contracts). The 16 teams to reach the first round will all get $402,493; the eight teams to reach the second round, another $478,913; the four to make the conference finals, $791,402. The finals winner gets $4,776,070, and the loser receives $3,164,739.

I'm curious, is '96 the best draft class of the past 25 years?

Is 2018 class gaining on them at all? (Luka, Trae, SGA, JJJ, Jalen Brunson)

2004 Class is pretty good, too. If top-heavy.

Jimmy Butler will go from $38m this season to $45.1m next season. $48m and $52m (player option) follow. At 36 years of age if he hasn't won a title and he's making $52m he will be criticized greatly. This is his moment.

MPJ hasn't done swat since game one of the Finals.

Yeah, his game is built on finesse and scoring and when those shots aren't dropping, he can't do much.

NOTE: Miami's defense time and again making young stars look like absolute garbage.

Chris Haynes on potential Damian Lillard's trade list: I'll leave it at Nets and Heat

Erik Slater: .@Chris Haynes on which teams would be on Damian Lillard’s trade list: “I’ll leave it at the Nets and Miami.” Haynes said earlier in this segment that he’s in frequent contact with Lillard (Via @dpshow)
