For us, we always get 2 when there is a clear cut one and then 3 other guys that could be 2...we have a history of picking wrong..damn

Gonna be some crazy Scoot vs Brandon Miller debates around here
My mind is already made up. I'll take the guy that can shoot the basketball.

Hard to say or know at this point. Trust that Mitch and company do a thorough review, vetting and analysis. Character along with talents. We CANNOT SCREW THIS ONE UP.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

The Swarm are going to be sick next year with Brandon Miller leading the charge
I'll be shocked if we pick Scoot, but I could see Mitch going with any of the wings.

Have to see how things play out over the next few weeks, None of the teams picking in 2-4 are great fits with Scoot.

I'd like to see if Portland or whoever picks 3 has interest in taking 2 for 3 and a future first.
We take Miller at 3

Bring on Scoot Melo backcourt. I love that combo. Sucks for Terry, but oh well.

Portland could do it it they trade Lillard. Houston could use a PG, but Scoot's more of a scorer than the facilitator they need.

Yeah, this blows. None of the players we will draft at #2 will start becuase Clifford, so it's really hard to care about this draft

Miller a good cultural fit for Miles?
Just take Scoot IMO
To me it seems like the Miller incident has been really overblown and he wasn't involved, maybe a little naive. But I'm sure teams will look into it thoroughly.

Congrats on moving up Hornets fans! I hope you draft Miller as I think he'll be a Jayson Tatum level star!

Re: 2023 NBA Draft Thread
Feel test, Miller will be the bust out of the top picks.
Don't **** it up, just go with Scoot. Take the Ja Morant type player and figure it out later

Scoot shot like 28% from deep in the g league. He's ridiculously athletic. Thompson twins are also in play. In my opinion.

Re: 2023 NBA Draft Thread
I can take solace in that I saw a picture of Victor's feet an hour before the lottery, and that freakin scared me, more than Bryce Young's size. So there's always going to be that "if he stays healthy" worry and being that the Hornets are up there with the Lions and Browns as the unluckiest in all of sports, he definitely would have got injured here

Re: 2023 NBA Draft Thread
I don't know. I'd like scoot more if he wasn't 6'2. I don't know how him and Lamelo would pair together. Both ball dominant and Scoot is not a catch and shoot player.
