A better asset than expected. A talent drop from 3-4 so this is great.
The only bad part is if we keep the pick and keep Lillard, Charlotte is a lock to not pick Scoot with Lamelo being their PG. Unless they don't draft Miller, unlikely, then Scoot is the worst fit from the big 3 for us.
Miller could even be a net positive for the team next year helping Dame and building towards the future.
If there isn't a deal for a good vet to help dame, then maybe trading dame makes sense.

With the PDX center curse, a small part of me is happy Wembanyama will have a long career in the NBA. Spurs somehow always luck out on the generational big men and keep them healthy.
Everyone wants to live at the expense of the state. They forget that the state lives at the expense of everyone

Thank you! I'm rooting for you guys in the east because I love Tatum's game so much.

Yeah it's nice we got #3 but to be that close to a #1 pick was pretty rough. Overall though a great day for the Blazers who now have a very nice trade asset.

Yeah, I could have done without the knowledge of how close the numbers were. That said, overall happy and I loved seeing BRoy back, really hoping he's going to be more and more a part of the franchise. Was so cool seeing him rep the team, great good-vibes call by Cronin.

My dream is seeing Brandon as an assistant coach with the organization, he has done a lot of good work in coaching over the past 5 years or so. I'm not sure he would make a great NBA head coach, but I'm sure many Blazer fans would love to see him work in the coaching world for the Blazers.

Portland would have to let Grant walk if they traded for Siakum/OG. As it stands with Dame,
that might be $120 million in long term contracts.

Ok, then Toronto adds 13

Sharpe, Nurkic, Simons, 3 for OG, Siakam, Boucher, 13.

Happy to keep Sharpe. OG is overrated as hell.

Blazers wouldn't trade Sharpe and #3 for Siakam/OG no way. One or the other....

Return to Portland Trail Blazers
