Or I feel we are over hyping this year's draft, which happens every year until they started playing in the NBA. Sure, Henderson has shown more and being bigger than Suggs, that doesn't mean Suggs is not ahead of Miller.
Again I know I wouldn't have put Suggs ahead of Miller, a 6'9 wing that can score at 3 levels and numbers blew Suggs' away. I don't see any reason to have ranked Suggs ahead of him but that's me.
I think if Suggs was #5 on the previous draft, this draft would make him a #3. And Kuminga at #6 would be ahead of Amen or perhaps Miller.
I think this draft is 2 or 3 good prospects behind from the previous 2 drafts. You can claim some players would be better, but if they are on the same draft and without you seeing them play against NBA level, I doubt you would have it this way.

I loved Mobley so much as a prospect I had him as #1 going away, I'm not sure if I would have had him above Victor or not, but it's possible.
There was a small minority of people that had Suggs ahead of Mobley and many that had Suggs ahead of Green. Suggs could quite easily go #2 in this draft, or at least been ranked #2 by a lot of people.
I think Leonard Miller is going to be out of Toronto's range by the end of it. Too much productivity and growth over a short time. I am confident he is a lotto pick. His year over year progression is insane considering he wasn't playing at a high level prep school last year. Guy is a sponge.
I always have him in the lottery due to his motor. I asked earlier (3 months ago?), someone here said the concern is defense as the reason of him being low. I personally think he maybe an average defender, similar to Siakam, so it is not much of a concern.
My biggest concern is his fit, as he demands the ball much with Siakam and Barnes, while all of them need speed and shooting surrounding them, where OG would not be enough, so I have some doubt in roster construction, but I think he is top 10 to me due to star potential.

I think Suggs and Bufkin are even in terms of skillset. Didn't Suggs measure shorter than thought? So same height as Bufkin?

Personally do think we should draft a good guard.
Miller is the type of player we do not need, I can see him being a decent player and maybe he develops a shot eventually to become really good. If we have Poeltl we don't really need a solid non stretch big. We need guards and shooting so they better tick at least one of those boxes for me.

I had Green as a complete DND. I remember Smitch raving about him. Hard pass on players who aren't interested in playing defense like Green or a guy like GG Jackson this year.

Hey of course everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but again I certainly would have not had Suggs in my top 4 at best and I'm genuinely saying that without being revisionist that I honestly likely wouldn't have taken him over Amen either when he's essentially supposed to be the same type of player but bigger and thousand times more explosive.
Annnd of course I do remember all the pre-draft ramble about that being a "top 4" heavy draft that eventually people starting softening their stance as we reached about a month out from the draft then it was top 3 were their own bracket, then Suggs, then everyone else supposedly. While I certainly fell into the same trap as pretty much everyone else here that he "should" be our pick, at no point did I think Suggs was at the level of the other top 3, I was desperate to find away to move up for either of Mobley or Green. I always thought that Suggs could (and was going to be) something more along the lines of ironically Lowry, as did everyone including media did too hence everyone calling for him to be the Heir to Lowry lol, so something near an all-star-ish type player but nothing special.
Brandon Miller on the low end for me looks like another Paul George and for me the only thing that really holds back PG from being a true star, is PG's beta attitude. Miller has shown complete comfort being the alpha dog from Day 1 at Bama and again far outproduced Suggs as a college player. Also as I mentioned I think given Miller's level of play this season, that it would've been much more a real conversation between him & Cade than Suggs ever realistically was. So yeah for me, again there's no question in mind even if I didn't know Suggs would flop as he has and I was going on pre-draft hype, I would not have bought Suggs more than either of Scoot or Miller FOR SURE and I also know myself that I'm sucker for upside & can't deny it lol so if 2 players have essentially the same skillset but one is 6'4 with a small wingspan and average athleticism and the other is 6'7 with a really good wingspan AND jumps out the gym....I'm taking B) Amen Thompson, so he wouldn't have made my top 4 but that's just honestly me.

Suggs was more of a PG, he had a lot more assists, was a freshman, and probably had 40+ pounds on Bufkin. His freshman bpm was 9.4 vs 6.7 for sophomore Bufkin.

I don't think anyone here can dictate draft prospect, otherwise, they are rich and not necessarily being here.
From the limited scouting report, I just feel Miller may not be as quick as George to do what he can do, so if I have to rank Suggs and Miller without knowing their performance at NBA level, I would have Suggs ahead of Miller. Henderson has long arms, which I think that will translate, but unsure his skill level (didn't watch enough since he is not in our range, mostly like Suggs being on transition).
Therefore, I am just not very sold on this draft class. The physical profile is lower than the last 2 drafts. Outside of Wembanyama, I think they are a tier below last year at the same draft spot.

Suggs had his stats slightly inflated on Gonzaga like most players do. He had a ton of space to work with and played against a lot of bad teams.
Tshiebwe can rebound and that's about it. Maybe he'd make sense for the Cavs to pick up after watching Allen and Mobley get absolutely annihilated on the glass by NYK. Would be good to put them up against him in practice.
