Hendricks is interesting, however I'm NOT interested in the whole Franz at SG idea..... Didn't work when we tried it and we didn't go back to it

Exactly! I be even tempted to add Franz to the deal with the Hornets along with 6 and 11 for #2

Wait… what???
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Yeah im with you... playing Franz there cuz we had Bolbol was just a novelty.

Unless this is the NCAA where we can just play zone, put Franz bck in the 3 spot

Obviously but will Charlotte or Portland?

I'm always pessimistic about trading up in the draft. It's rarely a good idea for a team at the top or near top of the draft to trade down. But the lottery just shook out in a way that could possibly make sense for Charlotte and/or Portland to trade down given how unique a position those 2 teams are and the unique position that we have 2 other top 11 lottery picks.

Conventional wisdom says the Hornets would probably pass up Scoot Henderson and take Brandon Miller since they're already invested in a good, young point guard.

I feel like Charlotte would more likely trade down for 6 & 11 than Portland. They're a team that needs so much. I like Miller and I think I'd take him top 3, but he's not some home run prospect in my eyes. I could see them wanting 6 & 11, giving them a couple swings at prospects that may not be that far off from Miller's stature as one. And for us, I'm not sure bringing in 3 more rookies to this team is the best idea. Consolidating these picks for 1 quality player would be ideal.

And if Portland is really committed to building around Damian Lillard, then I'm not sure Scoot Henderson nor Miller is the best fit there. If I were running the Blazers, I think I'd look into moving Lillard for assets and trying to secure Henderson as my future starting PG. Henderson, Simons, Sharpe plus more picks would be a great way to kick off a rebuild.

I really just want us to target a rising star at PG or SG to compliment Paolo and Franz. With 6 & 11 the odds are in our favor, right? Swing for the proverbial fences

Are there enough minutes at PG for a star to develop?

The log jam at PG is real..

Suggs is the compliment. Paolo and Franz are going to be the scoring punch on this team unless we get a star. Can't hope for a random home run pick scorer unless we trade for them.

We eventually need to just find the right PG though, if Fultz doesn't improve more than what he is (which a lot of people doubt), then I think the market every year is turbulent enough to make moves.

THIS. Suggs as the defensive guard is the perfect compliment to our scoring wing duo. WCJ, although not a rim prptector, is the perfect big to protect our big wings against the bruising big men in the league.

We just need a 3pt threat in our guard spot to open up the field for.our 2 wings.

Nah, one of Fultz/Cole in addition to 6 + 11 is as much as I'd give.

The gap between Wallace and Henderson is not that big. Wallace also has a 6'9" wingspan, is a better shooter, and plays better defense. They are also the same age.

I agree with this.

I don't believe Wallace is actually 8-10 spots lesser in value as a prospect. He's underrated right now. It wouldn't surprise me to see him rise in the rankings the closer we get to the draft.

Did I just read someone wanting to trade Franz and multiple lotto picks for #2 or 3????

With all due respect,

I don't think Whitmore will be there at 6, and Wallace probably doesn't make it past 8.

Had a couple moments where I went ... "Que?!?" But.... I'd be happy with Ausar and Hendricks!
