Biggest thing we need to address heading into Game 2 is the paint. No way we can give up 62 points in the paint and expect to win consistently. We can be a LOT better defensively.

Might do been part of our plan to give them that instead of the 3.

Considering how many 3s Mazzulla wants his team to take a night, this makes sense.....but I thought we committed a little too hard at times, especially in the first half and even when we were in a zone defense, Brogdon and Smart would get direct lines to the front of the basket. The latter cannot happen.

Then again, we could attribute their paint production largely to Robert Williams' o-rebs and put backs early on.

8th seed kicking off each series by stealing home court. Truly incredible.

Jimmy was dominant and got to his spots. It always starts with defense for us against the celtics.

When the Celtics choke us out on offense they feast off our late shotclock misses by pushing and exploiting in transition. That was the base dynamic of their second quarter blitz driven by Marcus Smart (f**k Marcus Smart).

I’m still pissed at a couple non-calls on blatant charges by Tatum and Brown. The Tatum one in the first half was particularly egregious and it resulted in 3 points for Boston with the free possession. Literally a potential 5 point swing on one call. That **** started their 2nd quarter run.

Rest & regroup. Not a lot of time to recover the rest of the series.

If we’re making shots, Spo can coach circles around Mazulla.
