That's a very good point. Who knows where this franchise is headed? Everybody ready for a revolving door of managers? The bar has been set by Torre. This is not a good start to the Hank and Hal era. The entire Yankee FO handled this situation horribly.

Joe won when we wondered if we would ever win again. He will be missed and will be the standard that Yankee skippers will be measured against.

Its sad Joe to see you go out like this. I feel it was an honor, even though we lost the game, to be at your last game as a Yankees manager against the Indians. I hope you go on to do great things for whatever team has the intelligence to hire you are their leader. This will go down as a great loss for the Yankees and a huge gain for the many teams that realize the importance of having Joe Torre on their bench.

Thanks again Joe. You helped me enjoy being a Yankee fan, watching my first game against the Brewers in the 90s till today. In my heart of hearts, no matter what team you go to, you are still a Yankee. We Love Joe, and we'll miss you man.

because when the yankees realize what you have done for this organization and TRULEY (which i have a hard time feeling the totally do) appreciate what you mean to this franchise, we'll see you again..

im not implying as the manager, although i do see it a possibility...id love to see you back as the President of the Yankees and put that jackass Randy Levine in his place....

so "So Long" for now Joe....u'll truley be missed...u may not have been the "BEST" manager in baseball, but you were (and still are in many eyes) the best "MAN" for the job
