Amazing metrics from both teams. Lakers gave em their shoryuken and Denvers metrics are calm and efficient.

This was LAs best shot. Even Hachimura was on target.

The Nuggets saw the exact same thing in the Wolves series where they put Towns or Anderson (Rui) and let Gobert freelance Jokic figured it out. Now Lakers are a way better team with more fire power but if the Lakers win it won't be cause they switched defense it will be cause they played better on offense.

It's sickening. And it's very likely going to happen to us in Game 2 vs. the Celtics as well. :nonono:

Agreed.. it’s easy to get caught up in the high of your team winning pivotal games until you have to deal with a league that “influences” games

I've never been more disgusted having to listen to a more biased color crew than JVG and Mark Jackson. They are openly rooting for the Lakers at this point

If the officiating in this LAL-DEN game is any indication, we're gonna get violated tomorrow LOL.

I was actually looking to see if there are any pics of JVG with a Lakers jersey online so that I could post it on the GB.

The one sidedness of the whole thing is so blatant, and it starts in a way (IMO) with the media. The Lakers are all they talk about. Even when they sucked for much of this season they got way more coverage than the teams that actually played well.

Watching Lakers, are we sure AD is top 5 or even top 10. He's elite defensively but on offense may not so much. For top 10 players, even when they have a bad game when they need to they get a decent shot or got to the line. AD doesn't seem to able to, if he's guarded by a big body and his jumper isn't there. He's getting exposed now Lebron isn't top 10 anymore

I respect LeBrons fire but if wasn't for the legend whistle LeBrons game would be abysmal.

Still, he pushes hard. He knows these are his last gasps as a professional player.

Lakers made the adjustment on Jokic but couldn't slow his all around game.

Murray keeps showing he's legit.

This denver team is for real.

That series might be over. Looking like this year might be start of the Jokic era.
Lakers can still turn it around but AD gotta give them 35 pts for next 4 games. And I don't think he can. Its clear he's not in Jokic tier. And Embiid might be better than him as a no 1 option.
It's up to the Heat to stop nuggets and I hate that matchup for us. Heat would have had a shot with the Lakers and their awful transition defense

Can't stand seeing LeBron get away with the WWE elbows but hes old and does whatever he can get away with.

It's a tough matchup for us but so was Dallas in 2006.

It's gonna be harder than 06. Jokic is a different beast than Dirk and then there's the altitude. It's not impossible but it would take a superhuman effort from Butler. He would need 2 or 3 40 point games or the Heat would need to shoot the lights out all series. With the caveat, if we actually get there. But with the zone Butler is in, anything is possible
