For gods sake please draft a true hooper. None of the intangibles shiiit like length and height.
I need a player who can just hoop. Ball handling/Play making/finishing at the rim/shooting....please

It's actually not. Masai drafts college players that rank highly in advanced metrics. It would literally be the opposite to what he normally does. lol.
People are still stuck on Bruno.
I like him.

trade him where?
Before you answer, remember they'd have scoot and shape in the backcourt. Simmons too. They'd want a 4 or 5 elite prospect. Find this trade. And he makes a lot of money so you gotta match salary. It has to work for both teams. Make something make sense
Put him on the market and teams will be aggressive for him. Had a very good season last year. Houston could be a player, same with Pelicans. BRK as well with the Bridges connection.
I can't see Houston. Not unless Harden actually goes there and even if he does, they don't have the salary to make a trade work for Lillard.
Sane with Brooklyn. The only guys they have under contract that have enough salary to make deal work is Bridges, Simmons and Finney-Smith. If they have to move Bridges, it defeats the purpose and while they could sign and trade some of their FAs instead, I don't see a team where your best players are Lillard and Bridges being a contender.
Pelicans have the assets but they'd have to be willing to move Ingram, Nance, one of Herb/Daniels/Murphy and some picks PLUS you'd be back to the Lillard/McCollum backcourt which didn't work the first time.
I think the Heat would be a phenomenal destination but Portland would have to be willing to take two of Herro and either Lowry or Robinson plus picks.
So really just the Heat and the Pels have offers that would give Portland reasonable return. If Portland doesn't care too much about what they get back then maybe options open up a little more but even then, he's really expensive (both now and in the future), he's already 33 and there aren't many teams that are just a Dame away from contending. Lastly, matching his salary is difficult as most times it will involve moving key pieces you'd want to keep around to help you win with him.

I just got on Omari Moore from San Jose State. I have not seen more fun film this year than this (okay minus Scoot/Wemby/Amen). Averaged 17/5/5 is a 6'6 monster PG:
;ab_channel=LeagueHim
He is 23 so likely a second rounder but I am hoping Bobby works his undrafted magic with this guy.

8 WAS Cason Wallace - Defensive PG to pair with Beal
9 UTA Gradey Dick - Perfect shooter to pair with Kessler/Markanen
10 DAL Taylor Hendricks - Fills the Dorian Finney Smith role
11 ORL Jordan Hawkins - This team desperately need a shooter
12 OKC Leonard Miller - Nice frontcourt option to pair with Chet
13 TOR Anthony Black
I am set on Washington because Cason will win them over as a special defender and perfect guard for them.
Utah may want Black but I think the shooting Dick offers is special enough that they go with BPA - plus this is the market for a tall white shooter.
I don't think Dallas would skip on Hendricks because of his 3 and D and no need for a connector with Luka and Kyrie.
Orlando could go with Keyonte or Hawkins. They need scoring punch because they already have size so no need for another non-shooting PG.
OKC is the toughest to deal with. They may like Miller because he fits who they look for, but I could see Kobe Bufkin if they want another driver. No way they want Black with Giddey and Jalen Williams and SGA eating possessions.
So, does Toronto draft Anthony Black over a Kobe Bufkin or a Hood-Schifino? Black is the best true PG option - excellent driver and can play off ball as a cutter with high level finishing and the defense is excellent. Ran Spain pick and roll and will likely get to do the same in Toronto with Poeltl. Problem is the shooting and spacing he has to work with in Toronto.
Either way, I can very easily see him falling to Toronto barring Utah using their pick on him.
This is possible.
If this were to happen, I'd probably trade back if I thought I could grab Bufkin late or just take Bufkin here. Someone taking Hawkins as early as 11 is a gift from on high.
If Miller measures and works out well, it wouldn't surprise me to see OKC swing on him at 12 either.

I don't think any of these guys are in play with the 13th pick, but if we are active on the trade market and acquire another pick, some of them might be.
Yep I agree with all of these guys. Brandin Podziemski should be on this list as well as Colby Jones, Derrick Lively, DaRon Holmes and Sidy Cissoko.

Cissoko is the same height, bigger wingspan, and 40lbs more of lean explosive muscle.
Kobe did get stronger in the pre-draft process and is now closer to 190 lbs. Ideally in the NBA you are 200 lbs as a guard.
I don't think Sidy is a guard given his slow release and weak handle - maybe a SF but he can't run point.

REJECTEDBYCLARK wrote:planetmars wrote:Anyone have their white board yet? Ie, your top 13?
Here is mine. Call it big board v2 (v1 is posted in a different forum).
1. Wembanyama
2. Miller
3. Sasser
4. Henderson
5. Dick
6. Hendricks
7. Wallace
8. Whitmore
9. Hawkins
10. Sensabaugh
11. Bufkin
12. George
13. Miller
Quick notes:
- I'm in love with Sasser. I think he's the best PG in this class and would take him at 13. Wouldn't even trade down since I'd be scared someone took him. Yup my love is irrational but don't care.
- No love for the Thompson twins. Going to the Overtime Elite was a bad call. Too risky for me.
- Scoot's lack of shooting worries me (under 28% in the g-league from 3). He's gone before we pick but he's below Sasser for me. I do like his explosiveness. Ja is a good comp. Non-gun toting Ja is exciting but his lack of shooting can be a problem. Need a guard that can shoot in our system. Especially with Scottie there too.
- Dick and Hendricks I think are the best two pure shooters in the draft.
- Wallace I think is the next best PG. Kawhi like PG is all I needed to hear.
- Whitmore is a Nova guard. Can't go wrong there.. despite not having Jay Wright to coach him.
- Hawkins/Brice/Kobe are pretty interchangeable. Can really flip them around in any way. I do like Hawkins probably more but it's super close.
- Keyonte's stats worry me. 30%+ usage and bad efficiency stand out. But he was apparently injured. So will use that as an excuse.
- Leonard Miller has a lot of tools to be a really good player in the league so my final pick.
Sasser is going to make a lot of front offices look stupid for passing on him. His stepback 3 is unguardable and deadly. He has big hands and the tightest handle in the entire class. I see zero reason he won't be able to score with the floater well enough and dish to teammates if he gets run off the 3 point line and his range is so deep that he will space the floor better than anyone in the entire class. I'd be extremely excited to see him put a Raptors jersey on.
I agree. I think he has the chance to be a major sleeper in this draft.

I third/fourth this lol said it earlier to RejectedByClark but I'd LOVE Sasser....just not with our 13th.
Like if we traded GT Jr to LAL for Beasley + 17th or to some team in the early 20s that might have a decent trade package for Gary. I'd be up for targeting Sasser then. I do really like that Sasser has dog in him, you can just see it with the type of energy he plays with and there's no more than most of us would like to see than a Fred replacement lol
But I do actually think they should make a legit effort to get a 2nd pick particularly for Sasser especially since we have zero guard depth even if Fred stays and if he doesn't, it's almost mandatory to get someone like MS for a more "NBA-ready" player who I think would actually be an excellent fit next Scottie long term.

From the Wiretap:
“ Lowe doubts No. 3 and Anfernee Simons would be enough for the Blazers to acquire either Mikal Bridges or OG Anuonby.”
WTF??? I think most of us would do that trade in a hearbeat.

The only issue I have is Sasser puts zero pressure on the rim but if we're talking a late first, yeah I'd give him a shot.

Sure but I think Scottie and Pascal operate around the post enough that we'd need a spacer more anyways. Sasser and Bufkin could be an upgrade to our current mini me guards long term especially defensively not being hunted as much.
