Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Just the shots that he attempts around the rim are so insanely breathtaking.

But my god that jumper gives me nightmares. He makes Giannis look like Steph Curry.

I'm afraid his shot is like Andre Roberson bad but I don't have the stats to back that up.

I think it might be worse.

Never in a million years would I have expected that dude to be able to move like that. Pretty astonishing highlight video.

I had seen that. Just kinda assumed it was like Mo Bamba testing as one of the fastest prospects in league history where it just didn’t like the same guy you watched play.

Watched a breakdown video a few months back detailing some of the things he struggles with. The guy doing the video claimed he basically does backflips to get back to his right hand and guys who just sit on that shut him down on post ups, but he does have a lot of tricks to set up his looks. Also really struggled with reading doubles and anchoring against physicality. Blocks some shots but gets *bullied*.

BUT he flashes as a movement shooter. Put that together with his feet and forget his height. He's got upside as a wing who can post wings and face up bigs. Could see the spacing in the pro game helping him.

You would think a guy with his skill level, height, and quickness could do more for a team in the Summit.

Tangentially: everybody was saying Omari Moore's standing reach #s were obviously wrong, but he does look freakishly long, and it explains how he's able to finish at the rim like he can with a sub-30" max vert.

I’m assuming O-Max has moved up well past our pick at this point, but he would still be a second round target for me even if we have to buy a second.

He’s got a 7’1” wingspan, he touched 12’0.5” in the max reach. He has a standing 35” vert. Combine that with the role he played in college being the one he would play in the pros, and there’s a lot to like. He’s a decently switchable big forward who has the semblance of a shot, and that’s still something we really need on this team.

He has enough warts/needs enough development that maybe he makes it to 58 because teams want him as a UDFA on a two way. Let Suki get him and put him in the weight room with Pat. Could be a fun player.

Couple of weirdly skilled and toolsy small program guys in this draft.

I know he is 25 but he is nba ready. Can play the drop, switch, defend PnR, and I think his offense is underrated.

6’9.75” barefoot
7’5.5 Wingspan
9’2” standing reach
222lbs
30” vertical

Hollinger-
Mountain West Player of the Year Omari Moore had been whispered as a second-round sleeper, but the senior guard from San Jose State struggled mightily in the two scrimmages and only jumped 23 inches from a standstill, the lowest leap of the event.

Looks good , don't know where he projects to be drafted , but because we gave away 5 second round picks would we don't really have any ammo to move up to get him !

Watching that video has convinced me that Nelson is basically a white Giannis.
