Either a Heat blowout win (then a sweep) or Cs squeak past Miami and anything is possible again.

Just win one, by any means necessary!!

It would be out of character for the Cs to out-execute the Heat so I’m hoping for insane shooting instead. Something like 21/45 from 3. Lead by 15 with 4 minutes left. Win by 2 pts.

Let’s see what Al Horford, Jaylen brown, and Marcus smart do in this game….if all 3 don’t show up, it’s an easy L. Last game was probably the worst I’ve seen smart and brown play arguably all season and it’s crazy this is the norm for Horford this playoffs bricking and not rebounding. Zero impact from all 3 in game 2.

Show some **** Celtic pride ffs. Grant Williams was the only one not scared of those ****.

Grant getting a ton of blame for poking the bear but the reality is Jimmy stepped up because that’s what he does with the game on the line. Grant didn’t pick his spot well after hitting one shot and starting to jaw but I don’t mind his intensity and hope joe continues to play him.

Rob and Tatum high pick and roll was just killing Miami which joe went away from for al at the wrong time. That’s feel of the game stuff that joe needs to see. Should also at least throw something new at jimmy occasionally. It doesn’t always have to be double but can’t continually be one on one.

I thought the talent gap was wide enough for the coaching gap to not matter much. I was wrong.

Jimmy has been the best player of the series though. Bam 3rd best and Caleb Martin 4th. Yikes.

You’re only as good as how you play. Does anyone care right now that JB is 2nd team all-NBA while Caleb Martin was a pickup from the waiver wire?

The hard traps and doubles they are throwing at Tatum are exactly what number 1 options get in a playoff series. Spo is just basically daring anyone else to do anything against us. Last night not a single person did.

The type of focus they are putting onto Tatum is exactly what people mean when they say doing things as a number 1 focus of the defense matters as oppose to putting up numbers as 2 etc.

I think Miami probably wins because this Celtics team might be ready to quit. Especially given Jaylen's season-long slow fade from Boston. But as usual, nothing would surprise me.

Jaylen needs to stop trying to show the world that he's just as good as Tatum and get back to playing team basketball. IMO, he's been awful in the playoffs this year. He played team basketball, last night, for two or three possessions and made two great passes for buckets and had a nice dunk from moving without the ball. Then this new JB showed back up and we got to see him trying to drive through three defenders again. Someone needs to bring back the old JB before it's too late.

Arguably, Bob was the second best player on the team last night. Loved his effort on both ends of the floor. He was the catalyst for both of the long runs. So, someone please explain to me, why was he riding the pine during the final 6 minutes of the fourth only to be subbed back in with ~ 40 seconds remaining? Being a rookie HC, I expect Joe to make a few mistakes but this is one that is inexcusable and flat out can't happen. And for God's sake, could he please try something different on freaking defense?!?! Throw a double team at Butler, drop into a zone to change things up, maybe try a box and one on Butler....please just try something!

Spo has Boston figured out and honestly Miami is more resilient and has more heart than this team does. This is exactly why I didn't want Boston to play Miami in the first round and I never thought they'd be playing them in the Eastern conference finals.

This series is over and even if this team wins a couple games there is just no saving face.

I've lost hope and have no expectations for the rest of this series. Expecting the worse but praying for the best. This team is talented enough to turn it around but who knows if they have the mental capacity to do so. I'd love to be proved wrong and have them come back and win the series.

Here's some positivity... this who we are... did anyone expect us to do this easily??? This team wins by fighting, period. You can only win doing that for so long without getting your **** together. I honestly feel like it's sort of like gambling... we've been down 0-2 before and made it look easy coming back right? This series is far from over if we win Sundays game, we just have to dit... I'm not waving the white flag until Sunday night.
