What if the coach in the playoffs we were waiting for was Darvin?

Anybody on the level of arguably the best player on the planet? Just curious. :D

We win any games he played in?

Are you saying he was healthy in that series?

If he wanted to come back, I wouldn't say no.

Feels like we might finally be past initial interviews. I'd guess we hear a list of finalists or a hire early this week

That's my feeling as well. It will be interesting to hear if Giannis meets with all finalists or just the one they decide they want to hire. With Bud it was Giannis and Middleton who had dinner with him but I think the decision had already been made and it was more of a courtesy. I have a feeling Giannis will be involved well before then this time.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Fischer just tweeted. First, it sounds like Milwaukee is narrowing its coaching search to a second group over this weekend.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

The main reason that team has made it this far is being carried by the refs. Darvin won't get those same calls in Milwaukee. Heck, they got all of the calls in yesterday's game and still got stomped out. Most of the on-court adjustments seem to be directed by Lebron. I watched multiple defensive possessions in that GSW series where Lebron told everyone where to lineup because he knew what was coming.

1 guy who will most likely be on that list is brooks after what i read about how impressive his interview was.
I know this board has giving msny reasons why thry dont like jackson or monte or doc but brooks was pretty good at OKC and 2 years in washington.Whats the take on him on why this board says no

We did poach a Lakers coach once before. Mike Dunleavy. He coached the Lakers for 2 years (101-53 lost to the Bulls in the Finals his first year). Kohl gave him an unprecedented 8(!) year contract. And because of that 8 year deal Kohl couldn't find a GM so he made Dunleavy GM as well. It was a disaster. He was fired as coach after 4 years but Kohl didn't want to eat the contract so he kept him as GM lol. Fortunately Portland hired him as coach a year later.

Any thoughts about Will Weaver or Kevin Young? They were apparently slated to interview.

I think the biggest thing differentiating the situation here is that the medical team was basically hired and completely funded by ownership, not Hammond/Kidd/Horst/etc. Current crew is pretty much untouchable for that reason. They are Wes' crew

That's good to hear

Bloody oath. It's one of the things that is night and day from previous ownership.

I'd still like a coach with an offensive game plan that goes beyond "let it fly" and "play random".

And I like Bud, forever grateful he got us a chip.

I certainly think our offense needed to be modernized a bit but it is sort of funny, I remember us on this board and fans in general absolutely loved the freedom Bud gave his players when he first got here. I remember let it fly t shirts being sold and the Bucks Social media team did a ton with that slogan.
