Yeah don’t give credit to Denver. Denver is and was the best in the west all year quit discrediting then by saying the west bracket was weak

i gotta believe we would've at least taken a couple of games against the Nugts if not made it a 7.

Nah, they actually played great in Game 1. Nuggets just went nuclear with their shooting. As the series has worn on, the Lakers are having trouble keeping up with the Nuggets’ pace. Heavy minutes for the stars, many in altitude against a team looking to fastbreak every single opportunity just wore them down.

The Lakers shot better in game 1 and AD had arguably his best playoff game ever.

It was still a successful season.

Overall, it was a minor miracle the Lakers even got to here after that horrendous start

Not even mad it was Jokic, Murray and the Nuggets

Just too much firepower

Lakers luck finally running out.

theyve been in playoffs mode since the trade deadline, just to make the play-in. No more energy..

& no smoke & mirrors will work with this Nuggets team.. Nuggets look much stronger and hungrier.

It'll be a great series between Nugs & Heat (?).. Not sure yet, who to root for. Butler & Jokic both deserve to win their first chip

Schroder flopping on Jokic leading to a huge Murray 3 might’ve been the most disgusting play of the game

Automatic Win!

Post#1967 » by Wammy Giveaway » Sun May 21, 2023 3:15 am

With the Nuggets now up 3-0, they have automatically won the series. Now every ABA team will have made at least NBA Finals.

Congratulations to the Denver Nuggets for finally getting there.

The Warriors were also internally a **** this year. Not to mention they were also by far worse in literally every metric compared to last year. They weren’t touching the Nuggets even if they scrapped by LA in some scenario. Max 2 wins if they played well.

I did too and it was a fun ride, when Jokic got that phantom 4th I srsly considered banging my head against the wall

tbh I thought it'd be an easier win, didn't expect Jokic to brick his usual shots but..all good things come to those who wait, right?

Yeah, GOAT discussion talks will simmer down after this loss. Bron just has not delivered enough despite longer years/prime in the league.

We weren't winning crap without Lebron being the guy either way. AD isn't good enough to be the lead on a team.

He cant do it anymore. Also our coach sucks.

I like this team though heading into next season minus DLO and Ham hopefully.

people talking about Lebron's legacy this and that. Dude is damn near 40 he ain't got **** to prove anymore.

Ham is legitimately good. No other coach in the league has been as aggressive as he has with adjustments and they've generally worked well. He can't make the Lakers hit the open shots they've missed all series. Sometimes the other team is just better.

Im not sold on Ham. Nuggets are the better team by far though.

eh...We'll see next season.

anyways GG Nugs.

LOL he brought a team full of castoffs, bench players and mid-season acquisitions from the 11th seed to the WCF as a 38 year old with 50 years worth of mileage on his tires. If anything this was one of the most impressive things he's done since his Cavs championship.

The worst part of this run is that we're going to see people change the narrative about Jokic. Like...he played JUST as well in the playoffs last year. He might have had a better season last year. But suddenly because he has NBA players starting with him and not G league allstars, people are going to think he's done something different.

Ham postgame: "They're just a tough ball club. Shout out to them."

I love this guy. He's just straight up. He gives respect.

What?

I'm saying the opposite bracket of Denver was a joke. Meaning the Kings Warriors Lakers and Grizzlies

Any of the 4 would've been swept in this WCF

I don't think they were winning, but getting by the Lakers would have meant that one of Klay or Poole had finally figured their **** out. Which would have made it at least competitive, I think. The Warriors wouldn't attack the Nuggets the same way the Lakers are trying to.

I don’t see what you’re seeing. It took him how many games to adjust the Troy Brown/Beasley minutes? FANS were calling for this after game 1 Memphis.

He has yet to come out with Rui over DLo at the end of halves where DLo provides nothing.

He has stuck with Vando over the last 2 series when he is clearly hurting the team on both ends. His defense hasn’t even been decent since the Memphis series.

He has continued to play DLo, who is in a WILD negative while on the floor this series. I’ll stop saying it after this but up until half time of this game, there was a 13 point difference in score this series. In DLo minutes played, LA is a -60.

As Jokic sat in the 3rd, Ham put out an embarrassing lineup, playing DLo NINE minutes of the 3rd. Most of those with Jokic on the bench.

What adjustments are you talking about? Rui and LeBron ok Jokic while AD roams? Most fans in this very thread were calling for this before game 1 even started. This was expected when the series started. I’m actually surprised it took 3 quarters for Ham to try it.

Where are the aggressive adjustments? I haven’t even seen any non aggressive adjustments yet. Maybe the second half of a close out game will provide something. We can only pray

If Jokic wins Finals MVP.

They should make Mark Jackson present him with the trophy.
