It is known as Jeremy Lin syndrome or that Jerome guy from supersonics he's the better example.

It's going to be close to impossible. That's why they have to win it this year. Without Brown, their bench unit is uncle Jeff and Braun who hasn't developed.

Makes it even more laughable when people talk about how deep Denver are. I have high hopes for Peyton Watson next year though!

However, we made 3s and we didn't turn the ball over. That was the difference.

KCP has been lights-out from 3 in these playoffs.

100% This is the type of game championship teams learn to win. Despite what this board thinks, there are plenty of times the Lakers have done the same on the road during their runs (other team getting all the calls etc...). Its a lesson many teams/players never learn (See Harden/CP3/Morey's teams etc...). Championship teams learn to go out at take it.

The benefits of keeping a group together for a few years can't be overstated. They've been together for a bit now, have taken some big lumps and now have the requisite toughness/experience. Now we'll see how they handle the Finals.

Denver deserves to be in the Finals. They never had a chance since they reached the WCF in the bubble. Murray got hurt and had to wait 2 more years to finally be healthy again. They show you how good they are when healthy.

LA was 25-30 at one point this year. I never expected them to get this far. I just don’t know if LeBron and Davis can get them over the hump any longer. The former will be too old and the latter is too inconsistent.

Very true. Denver has characteristics of a championship team. Very 2011 Mavs-esque with the way they hit timely shots.

Big picture: very successful season for the Lakers. They've been hitting the turbo button since February. It was a fun run and we'll see if we can be the first team in history to come back from 3-0 (haha).

That Dallas team was a fluke though. Don't get me wrong, I love Dirk. But, they really played to the absolute maximum of their potential. I think this Denver team has a chance to make this into something.

With that said, it i's difficult to say because the West is so strange right now. New Orleans was playing great but then Zion zioned. Portland threw in the towel in December but have a bunch of talent and top pick to add. The Suns will add a bench and maybe move Chris Paul. If the Clippers don't lose both of their stars to injury, they might still be playing. OKC is going to make a big jump within the next 2-3 years with SGA and all that draft capital. Memphis can be great if they stop playing with guns and keep growing/adding. Sac is very good. GS may have a plan to get a star for one last run with Steph. Dallas... who knows what's going on there but they have Luka.

Every team has a plan for the future/young star and will likely be better next year... except the Lakers. If they don't get Kyrie, idk how they don't blow it up. This was a really weird year.

If his name wasn't LeBron, the move would be to trade him now for as much as possible. But, the Lakers are a classy franchise and don't do that. They can afford to ride out the end of a stars career because once they clear up cap space, someone will ALWAYS want to go to LA. So, they don't follow the traditional rebuild model. But, they really don't have a window... and might not have any way to develop one given their restrictions.

As for Denver, even if they win, they have to keep getting better... even if it means moving starters for another bonafide efficient star.

I don’t think the Lakers would let him slip away. But they’ll pay for DLo’s Uber to LAX

Name three team deeper than the Nuggets. They’re absolutely deep comparatively to other teams lol (only the Celtics are deeper imo)

He's not entirely wrong.

It's obvious that the Lakers' most effective lineup, particularly defensively, is Schroeder, Reaves, Hachimura, James, and Davis.

Playing Vanderbilt and DLo at the same time is disastrous. Vanderbilt was left WIIIIIDE open on a corner 3 that he missed badly. DLo gets targeted by the Nuggets bigs on PnR.

I don't know about that. Miami is waaaaaaayyyy better than The Lakers.
lol at way better. Their advantage is spoelstra. Murray can cancel Jimmy out the way Murray is playing right now. Everything else is a + for denver

The biggest thing about the Heat is they don't play stupid at any times. Lakers, Warriors, and Celtics all haves too many dudes going rogue f*cking up the game.
