there is no hiding from this. Lakers look like the Knicks against the heat. Lakers just can't get anything done against the better team. This is an ass whoopin. The first two games were close but it really was t. The best team always find ways to win those close games

The story's been that the Nuggets go on a 13-0 haymaker and the Lakers have no answer, and that's all it's really taken. I think their offense has run out of steam a little bit. The Warriors went on some big runs themselves, but the Lakers used to hit back with timely shots. Now none of those are going in, they missed their opportunity in Game 2, etc. They needed their shotmaking to go to another level, or even just have a solid 3pt shooting performance, but it's gone down even more. That's too much to overcome when you're also not getting back in transition, allowing offensive rebounds, etc.

Game 4 is a must win game for the Lakers

According to your logic, Tim Duncan doesn't deserve any respect.

They should have taken Conley instead.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

He's a MUCH better passer this year and he's played better defense too. Sure the teammates make up most of the difference, but he's still significantly better this season.

I agree on the defense bit, but Jokic's passing was always incredible.

His passing was amazing last season too.

His regular season and playoff production is exactly the same as last year.

The series is not over, I am expecting the Lakers to put Jokic in 75 pick and rolls in game 4.

Jokic is going to go down as one of the GOATs and top 10 player this decade. Too much skill, no reliance on athleticism, he's going to have a long peak.

Last year, he had 7.9 APG and 5.8 APG in the playoffs. This year he averaged 9.8 APG in the regular season and 10.2 APG in the playoffs. He was a terrific passer before, but he definitely hit a new level this year. He might have the same scoring production, but he lifts everyone else's game more this year. It's not just better teammates. He's gone from the best passing big man of all-time to literally the best passer period since Magic. It's a marked difference.

The player receiving the ball needs to score for an assist to be recorded. Jokic's second best player last year was Will Barton. Murray and MPJ hit a lot more shots than the bums he was surrounded by last season.

I honestly can't believe Darvin Ham went with D-Lo again. I'm actually shocked. Russel was a team worst -25 in game 1. A team worst -16 in game 2. Tied for 2nd worst -12 in game 3. He hasn't shot well at all this series. If they give his 20 minutes to Troy Brown Jr I am 100% certain they aren't down 3-0 in this series. So dumb of Ham to keep trusting Russel when their margin for error against the Denver team is low. Continuing to play a player that I don't think will be back next year is disgraceful. **** his feelings. He sucks and the Wolves couldn't wait to get rid of him. This is why.

Nah man. Conley would not have made a damn difference the way the whole team is playing. The size difference is very noticeable also since Ham keeps playing the **** 3 guard lineup

I remember in the lowe post zach mentioned how on ESPN they asked who would have won a series between the Nuggets and the Lakers and ALL panelists (Spears, Shelburne, Carter and Thompson) said the Lakers.
Tristan Thompson in particular was very bullish against the Nuggets in other occasions as well.
Can't find the video.

Dude Russel makes Bruce Brown look like MJ. Conley is a much better defender, higher IQ, and is a winning player. I truly believe Ham's insistence of starting Russel regardless of how he is playing cost yall this series. Provided nothing on both ends all series but played 20 minutes. Disgrace
