I'm not sure they beat these extraordinary Nuggets with 2020 Lebron. You need 2016 or 2017 Lebron

Hell, last years Lebron who could actually shoot 3s would make a world of difference. He was a downright electric scorer.

What the hell happen to his shot

Lakers have defended reasonably well against the nuggets, after switching to Rui on Jokic (of course murray did go absurd this game so the off rtg may not show it)

The issue was always how consistent the offense is and current lebron is genuinely not the best option in the halfcourt on ball for us right now. Neither is AD. It’s absurd

Pre foot injury bron and we’re rolling

This does not look like a title team to me. I think this isn't a particularly great year in terms of top tier teams with overwhelming talent, but they look way too inconsistent to me.

I think you guys are way off here thinking it would take a near peak LeBron. This is 38 yr old LeBron playing at about 80% due to injury. Give them 2020 and they win one out of two in Denver and probably today's game as well.

People saying it would take 2016 or 2018 version or close to it are basically saying peak LeBron. Give 2018 LeBron more help on offense so he can play more def and he's like a top 4 player ever.

Lebron hasn’t had a great playoff run since 2020. Last year’s likely wouldn’t have done much better than this year’s especially given he couldn’t even get them to the playoffs. What a ridiculous post.

Lebron’s ankle was dead in 2021 and he currently is missing a tendon lol

The **** are you talking about? He was a top 5ish offensive player last year in a truly abysmal offensive environment.

You can't tell difference between that guy and the one we're watching now who has to carefully pick his spots because he can't attack in the halfcourt and whose 3ball is completely busted? Really???

What ridiculous post.

The Lakers are on the verge of being swept, even if you assume that Lebron remains healthy and dominant into the playoffs, it’s not going to swing that series period.

This is the same bull we hear every year from Lebron stans. “When he was healthy he played like the best in the league” Or top 5 or whatever. Since coming to LA, Lebron has been a top 5 player like once in 5 seasons. And the only season he was was a shortened season.

2006 LBJ maybe?

Anything from 2008-2020 gets it done minus 2019.

It wouldn’t take him playing like a top 5 player to swing this series IMO. It’s been pretty close from a game-to-game basis.

Good God it's wild how much sharper he's moving then. Damn man this is not the same guy since he went down. That honestly might've been enough. Next year's gonna be interesting
