At this point, this is more embarrassing for the Sixers than it is the Celtics.

Re: Official NBA General Discussion 2022-23 V4.0
Usually this board overrates the crap out of players on other teams, but now there's a bit of underrating of Brown going on now. Dude just came off a season averaging 27/7/4 on good efficiency while being a good defender that has consistently performed in the playoffs. It feels like some people are putting way too much weight in the last 2.5 games where Brown's three-point shooting has abandoned him and the entire Celtics team has looked out of sorts. Prior to this series, he was averaging 25/5/3 on 63 TS% in the playoffs while he put up 23/7/4 on 58 TS% in last year's playoff run. He has actually performed very well in the playoffs historically.
Brown is in a similar tier as Siakam (elite 2nd options and I think Siakam is the slightly better player overall because of his playmaking), but he is also 2.5 years younger and there is some more room for improvement. You more than likely can't win it all with either of them as a #1 option, though they'd probably actually work really well as a duo. It's possible the Tatum/Brown duo is playing its last games together and I'd love for us to go out and get Brown, but we aren't getting him for OG lol.

Damn. Heat look like they are going up 3-0 on the Celtics.
And I got hit with a ban for typing 2 of the same letters.
Not sure which is funnier.

Who'd rather have Gabe Vincent on a cheap contract vs $20M Fred?

Heat have been the best, mid, and worst team to reach the finals lol

I’d love to get Brown as well without trading Pascal. Pascal and Jaylen could work. The question is what would it take? I don’t think we have picks to trade until next year’s pick conveys.

Remember, Raps couldn't beat a shorthanded Boston team twice yet Miami is destroying them. That's how dysfunctional the Raps roster actually was.

We've got game 6 GSW finals Tatum on that last play. Hiding in the corner. Open 3 and he's hesitating and bricking.

He has a net neutral career RTG in the playoffs. He is an AVERAGE player in terms of overall efficiency perceived as a superstar. He's a turnover machine who doesn't really get to the line a lot, rebound well or get stocks although his defense is alright.

He don't got to play well when he got the great Martin and Gabe Vincent.
Butler hasn't been great this series on offense outside 4th Q, been good playing free safety on defense though.
Jimmy averaging 30 on 55% TS this series and that is going down after this game.

I also thought Miami had a bad off season last summer, didn't do anything much to improve. But this playoff Heat team has taken a leap like I haven't seen in a long time.
its also lightning in a bottle.
they play the bucks in another series, they'd probably lose.
having said that, i'm still enjoying the heck out of watching them. east playoffs would've been intolerable without them.
