Good outing by Houser
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Well that could make it an awful way to lose.

Can we put the blame of bad offense on the two hitting coaches? I know we can blame the players, but the coaches are supposed to prepare the hitters.

How many hitting coaches are we going to blame before it's finally the players' fault?

Re: Brewers Game Thread
Not 100% sure what we have. I mean on pace to win 88 and sitting in 1st place is something I would have taken at Memorial Day, especially without Woodruff. Bullpen has been great. Starting pitching a little up and down. Yelich is showing signs of being above average again. Youngsters have been taking some expected lumps. Wiemer at least been solid defensively. Think has one of the dWAR on the team. Hopefully can get back to winning more series and build some room on Central lead.

Dubon hitting a home run is a new low for Burnes. Jesus.

Nice of Burnes to step up while our rotation is riddled with injuries.

Feels like Hader all over again. Waited too long to trade Burnes, tanking his value and resulting on a trade that'll yield 50 cents on the dollar.

Re: Brewers Game Thread
25-22 and treading water in a weak division sounds about right for this team but at the same time, it's gonna be awfully hard for me to advocate them being buyers at the deadline even if they're still sitting in 1st place. Maybe Burnes turns it around and we get a boost from guys returning from injury, but that hot start is sure looking like more of a fluke at this point.

Re: Brewers Game Thread
Is Houser gonna be the random Chacin/Miley (referring to his first stint with the Brewers) starting pitcher who saves the team's season despite all evidence that he's supposed to stink?
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.
