Troy Brown is definitely a buy low candidate that could end up being great. 24, was a defensive menace but also an on ball guy at Oregon. Bought into a role playing position for the Lakers this year and shot 38% from 3 and 87% from FT.

If we can grab him for multi year deal at a discounted price, it'd definitely be a good gamble, imo.

Not confusing at all.

This picture literally encapsulates everything that is Glenn Rivers ... Amazing! So glad this clown is gone. You dont lose 11 straight closeout games and it doesnt matter and it doesnt effect the players.

Enough with Jaden Springer honestly guys he sucks. The Sixers havent exactly had a great bench since we drafted him and he cant get on the court. There is a reason for that besides Doc Rivers. He isn't any good. Hope spings enternal I guess.

I think Donte gets a full MLE somewhere. He was a starter on that Bucks championship squad before getting injured. I think he's a quality 3rd guard/5th starter in the right situation.

Donte DiVincenzo had a spark when he started, but now he's just garbage.

I like DiVicenzo. I think he'd be fine as a stop gap start for us. He'd improve our perimeter defense and he's got reliable handles and a decent three game. He's also an underrated athlete. You take him, Melton, and Springer and create a hell of a defensive trio from the guard position. All three can defend multiple positions on the floor. Love the idea of him here with what we would have left after Harden leaves. I'm all for Shake coming back, but if leaves and we sign Donte, I wont be upset about it at all.

Coby White has shown flashes when filling in for injured guards ahead of him. Chicago has a surplus and he's a realistic target who's been riding the bench for two seasons now.

Targeting Chicago guards makes sense imo. LaVine, DeMar, Lonzo, Caruso, White, Dosunmu. Somebody's gotta shake loose.

Maybe you're right that he sucks and will continue to suck. But it's not like we're a team that's swimming in youth nor do we have a lot of draft picks for the next few years. Right now, aside from Maxey and Reed, he's the only other piece we have to look forward to for the future assuming he isn't traded.

NAW is interesting. Looks like he made a big jump into a decent rotation piece last year, albeit in limited mins.

Wonder how much he would cost? He's an RFA so we'd have to bid an amount MIN wouldn't match.

FVV when harden leaves would be a great get for the Sixers. He is familiar with Nurse

Coby White is definitely a guy that interests me, feel like he can break out in the right situation.

I respect the heck out of FVV, but unless we surround Embiid with long, athletic switchable guys who can also rim protect he and Maxey are not a great match and FVV is not as good of a shooter as his reputation suggests.

Vanvleet shoots under 40% from the field in both the regular season and the playoffs and he's 6 foot tall. He's borderline unplayable.

yeah I feel like I am taking crazy pills with the FVV hype lol.

he was the best as a 6th man.

Maxey needs to be the worst defender on the floor so we can hide him; FVV battles but 6ft is 6ft

Yeah, I'm tired of bringing in bad players that the decision maker we bring in is familiar with lol.

None of this matters if they don't get the TPE for Harden.

If Houston won't play ball, you might have to just offer Harden the whole bag and worry about it later. Won't be able to effectively retool without that TPE.

Flat 4-year, $160 mil with the final year partially guaranteed is my prediction.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

My guess is we're offering 4/$150M with $30M in the final year not guaranteed. So if he's cut after 3 years it's only $120M.

I can live with that but not more. At that number we can still move him if needed after a year. At $50M per he's an albatross that will sink us forever just like "The Contract" already did.
