Career: James Harden vs Jimmy Butler

Interesting enough, these guys actually are the same age.
A few years ago this comparison would have sounded ridiculous, but now Jimmy has arguably 3 playoff runs better than anything James ever did in the postseason. How does it change your evaluation, when Harden is completely on another planet in terms of RS achievements

You appear to have switched their stats.

I’ve still got Harden relatively clearly here, I’m a pretty big longevity guy and Hardens getting pretty good there.

hardens playoffs stats are nerfed because of his first 3 years playing in okc

i count his houston, nets and sixers playoff numbers not his okc

also harden has robbed of at least 3 or 4 all-nba selections because the media hates him( harden just posted a 21/10/6 season on 60% true shooting for the 4th time in his career and didnt make the all star team or all nba).. the only other guard to do that in league history was magic and he only did it 3x

It's interesting that arguably the two greatest guards of this generation (depends which era you put CP3 in) in Curry and James are going to be sold short by their all-nba selections. Curry only having 4 1st team selections, yet routinely being the best guard in the association since 15, and James MISSING all nba alltogether in 2016 and 2023 (completely indefensible imo) is not doing their legacies justice in casual conversations.

Communities like this that don't accolades heavily will give them their flowers, but it hurts them in the general public eyes, especially once retirement rolls around and people start accolade listing.
