Jimmy's the head of this monster. We lean on his toughness & leadership. Tonight he was tight & tentative. Did you see him damn near chew off his fingers on the bench? & to own & punk Grant all series & get blocked by him you know something's up.

I am shocked we were nervous seeing that it was finally the opportunity to exact revenge & we've been killers all PO's....but these close out games pressure hits different.

Now that we've felt that pressure maybe we get it out of our system a little & play bit more looser in the 2nd elimination gm where we are 8pt dogs.

To win it all we need to be tested. A sweep wouldn't have prepared us. Nothing easy, everything earned for our squad who embraced & found beauty in the struggle.

I mean, in the 2nd quarter i think, I saw jimmy miss a point blank layup, standing under the rim. I knew then that this was not our night.

He missed like 5 at minimum lol clear sign they just didn’t give a damn. The fix was in :o

Your boy cowardly scored 0 points and grabbed 2 rebounds in the second half and his defense was abysmal. Can’t dispute that

You're a Falcons fan. Of course you expect this kind of result. As a Dolphins fan I completely understand but this is Jimmy and Spo here, we got this bro.

serious question, as I am unaware, is there really a fix among players? or was that tongue in cheek comment

might appear to be a dumb question, but im old enough to know the world is a really strange place to discount anything

The amount of disrespect from the media for our team is not surprising but i really hope the players see that people saying that the Celtics are going to become the first team to overcome a 3-0 series.
I want us to win game 5, we need to come with FIRE in our eyes and take their green annoying sousl out. And hear their sht announcer introduce us as the EC champions, infront of that fan base that i hate so much.
Lets blow them out!

Nah I’m just joking about him missing layups because of the fix but yea Vegas does have influence and games/scores/stats are influenced and I think it’s pretty clear to majority now. It’s actually getting pretty bad.

I mean I warned everyone before the game Bam wasn’t going to do anything because the whole gambling community took the over on his points and gambling sites were even doing “Taco Tuesday” promotions lowering his point total to 14.5 over/under to get more people to take the over. After being completely dominant all year and playoffs against the Celtics he just randomly has his lowest usage rate of the playoffs? Not a coincidence

Ok I understand being dissapointed with yesterday's result, effort, turnovers etc etc. Yes we did waste an opportunity to close the series in our home floor, yes we did look disinterested and lethargic. But lets not get our playoffs success cloud reality and expectations for this team, we are massively overachieving here, we took out the Deer, number one record in the league, nobody was remotely expecting that, we took care of the Knicks, and were 3 quarters away from sweeping the Celtics, the 2nd seed. We are in an excellent position here, a position nobody thought we could be in after watching our horrendous season. Lets suit up tomorrow and try to get one in the Garden, but even if we lose we have two other chances to take care of business, of course i would prefer to have this done by tomorrow or the latest back in Miami but we can definitely win a game 7 in Boston if things get to that point. I am more worried about Vincent's ankle than this crazy Boston comeback media talk.

They have not, just a personal opinion there. Going to be hard to win 3 in a row in Boston. Silver probably wants another game though :o

We had a really bad 20 minute stretch. From up 9 early in the third to losing by 17. Huge swing.

Even when we were winning the first quarter though, I didn’t like how we were playing. Offense was clunky and the defense was late on rotations and gave their shooters wide open looks. We still have ourselves a chance to win this one. We even had multiple runs to cut it to 4, but then had bad turnovers that were just momentum breakers.

Celtics won a bunch of games in Miami and celebrated on our floor last year. Time to return the favour tomorrow.

He misses them all the time in games where he's just off and not feeling it. I'm pretty sure I remember him missing like 4 or 5 of them when he went 6/19 in the play-in game loss to the Hawks. Fortunately he hasn't really been having those games since but I'm sure his ankle is still an issue. It really is a shame we couldn't close it out and get guys like him and Lowry 8 days of recovery time.
