Hopefully we're entering a new, better era for the Hornets:

I think Jay Hernandez might have been the only remaining person employed by the team that I liked (not counting broadcast, just bball related).

There is talk now that Charlotte lost VW lottery that MJ ramps up selling the team. I think that's the only hope at this point, to get someone in charge who knows that they need to stop cutting corners when it comes to staff. Someone like Tepper oddly enough

It would be nice to get some reporting about the potential ownership change. It's kinda a big deal, you'd think someone would be interested in doing some digging.

Is there a way to get Reeves? He’s the next Gordon Hayward. Much rather have him than PJ, move Miles to the 4 and take Scoot or Miller to play with LaMelo, Miles and Mark

If there is a situation where we drafted Scoot, trade rozier for equal value, maybe sign Russell to replace terry, get miles on the cheap, make moves with Gordon/oubre/Terrya and what 4ish picks in this draft after 2? Hopefully pj doesn't think he is worth more than 4/70. Fingers crossed.

he would have got more for it if they won the lottery, VW was worth a ton to whoever gets him, so who knows it might have done the opposite as he wont get as much

Can we still sign and trade Miles? I know Miles is a Klutch client and that him and LeBron are buds maybe they can pull off a double SNT

Can't have Reeves on this squad. His name doesn't have an M in it. Need to draft Miller to keep the theme going.

Melo
Miller
Miles
Mark

Get Mason back here, pronto.

I guess we are gluttons for punishment and wanted to re-live the pain of not getting Wembanyama, becuase he will be there too. Awesome.

The Pelicans hired James Borrego as associate head coach (whatever that means?). Any thoughts on him? Is it a good fit as an assistant? What are some things you guys think he is good/bad at?

Thought he did a good job with player development. Don't think he quiet has the leadership or presence to be the lead man on a good team, but I think he is great as a assistant coach. Pels should be happy with the hire.
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

he definitely helped our offense and player development (particularly offensively), but defense is definitely optional with him as the head coach. Hopefully Green and your other assistants are preaching defense.

I'm seeing posts everywhere about us trading LaMelo or the #2 pick for players like Beal, Siakam, Towns, etc. I even saw a post about us trading the number 2 pick to Portland for Lillard, lmao.

How about no? The only players I'm somewhat interested in trading the number 2 pick for are Jaylen Brown or Mikal Bridges and I don't think either are actually available. I'm not interested in trading LaMelo for anyone.

Hornets will take Miller, but if they take Scoot, they should at least let them play together a year to see if it works. There is talk that Hornets may look to extend LaMelo quickly, and that means they couldn't trade him anyway.

Melo is getting extended immediately. Like I said I wouldn't mind Scoot but it'd take bare minimum 2 years to see if they can coexist, and Rozier is starting next year regardless.
