The NBA media lives in the North East, scattered between Massachusetts and New York.

Also they honestly just need content for the clicks. If the coverage was just, “the Celtics are still cooked” no one would tune in and there’d be nothing to talk about until the NBA finals.

If you think the noise is loud now, just imagine if the Heat lose game 5 and it goes back to Miami for game 6. We’re talking about a hundred more podcasts tomorrow singing the Celtic’s praises

The same thing happened/still happening to Denver, they had a recent 2 time MVP, should have won it this year also but since they were playing the Lakers it was all about the Lakers. You'd think this is the time to push the other teams AS MUCH as teams with bigger fanbases for the betterment of the league but no, it's all about how many eyes can you get on your media. It's basically like that for everything in media now.

I suppose. Just ridiculous to me that the whole sports world is rooting for us to lose after the historic, inspiring postseason we've had. That's the kind of storyline the media should be promoting, imo.

This looks like a good article by Lowe on the Celtics adjustments last game against us. I haven't had a chance to dive into it yet today (it's long and includes video clips) but looking forward to going through it before the game.

Yeah I had to laugh when Denver won, all the broadcast did was focus on Lebron all the way to the tunnel and miss the initial Nuggets celebration

Lebron is such a attention whore he just had to throw in the retirement nugget even though we know he’s now retiring.

4 guards on the active roster on basketball-reference... 3 are out.

This should have the makings of a Butler game.

I’m sure it’s still hurt, as are his hamstring and hip. Like jimmys ankle. They have to show the shoulder on the injury report because of the kind of shirt he’s been wearing, he’s been on every report since he started wearing it
