Colby Jones is an upper classmen type who an agent might think is never going to go lotto, but to me he stacks up well and isn't that big of a reach. I was more thinking of mystery guys like Kobe Brown, Jalen Pickett and Reese Beekman as guys Toronto would also want to workout because they seem intriguing, but they likely would not draft them at 13.

Noah Clowney and Jordan Walsh are the one and downs that I really hope they get to work out.

Coulibaly has to be our pick at 13 if he's there. He looked good here offence and defence. Coach trusted him on the court to close things out in a playoff game. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes before we pick.

We've raved about Colby on here but I can easily see agents not sending him for a workout at 13. That one just spoke to me cuz I doubt we would take him there. These agents play the game and target the teams where they think the player will land and plan to have their best workouts with those teams. Pickett, Brown, etc wont be sent to us likely due to us not having a 2nd rounder which is where they will likely go.

For real? I can't believe how much his shot form & speed has improved since last year. I'm super intrigued. He'll never be Klay, but if the jumper is real, the intersection of size, motor, coordination and touch may be too much to ignore (though I'm dying for a guard). Seems like a great guy too.

That said, if he's the pick you HAVE to move OG or Pascal!

I think OKC is going Bilal or Leonard. Both guys fit their profiles and they've been scouting Leonard for the past 2 years. They were all over him at Fort Erie. Same with Raps. I could see Masai having both those guys at the top as well

He really kept referring to himself as a PG rather than a SG. He mentioned modelling himself after Luka and Brunson making the case that you don't have to be a big time athlete to play point and succeed.

I think when I first was diving into him I saw this Tyrese Haliburton type of game to him, and he sometimes makes some really smart passes. I just don't know his ideal team because he is so lacking as an athlete and definitely has weak points. He is going to be a liability on defense and his lack of driving will be tough to overcome. In the combine scrimmage he was throwing up some long distance floaters that just don't look like NBA shots.

I am surprised he never mentioned Steve Nash who went to Santa Clara too.

I saw a european website list his wingspan as 7'5.5 and he has the potential of gary payton on defense

I think he is 2 years away from minutes on the Raptors. He just hasn't played enough high level basketball and like you mentioned, his shot prep is really slow. He has great touch around the rim, but I'd worry about that jumper.

Yeah, both are interesting. Coulibaly has more upside and he's a better fit as I can see him developing as a big off guard. I think either is a fit for OKC, but I hope they see overlap with Coulibaly and SGA and go Leonard instead.

Spurs are also rumored to try to get into the late lottery.

Imagine if they trade our picks to OKC and take Coulibaly 12. That would suck. There are a few good consolation prizes that would be available though.

Fluidity to me is imperative to good shot mechanics. I'm not worried about jumpers being blocked, that rarely happens to NBA players, I'm just more talking about the prospects of his jumper taking him to another level

Max Lewis and his stride length is what blows me away. The drives are never perfect, but he knows how to get every inch out of his stride to get around defenders or to the rim. This is the trait that most reminds me of SGA.

You don't have to be the fastest, but good stride length plus hesitation dribbles and pump fakes can keep defenders off balance.
