Wonder who they’re looking at. I’m sure they’ll fill it.

Darling was solid everytime I saw him with Ontario, thought it was gonna be Xavier again but can't argue with this one.
I'm hoping this isn't due to news about Norms injury being worse than originally expected

Also talking buy out market, I hope Bulls cut Dragic to sign Russ and we can swoop Goran up. Goran is obviously not as good as he used to be, but I'd take him over Russ and Bev

All I have read that it is rest relating to a prior injury against Utah IIRC, so maybe/hopefully they just wanted to give him an extra long ASB. He’s been ballin’ out lately so didn’t look hurt…

So the Clippers waived Darling today and signed Keaton Wallace to a 2-way contract.

With the Bucks pick, hoping Cason Wallace drops to us, otherwise, I'd take a swing on DaRon Holmes or Azuolas Tubelis.
Take Jaime Jaquez in the second.
Also, Emoni Bates drops, he should be worth a gamble as well.

Sixers fan in peace. Not sure where you guys are with PG13/Kawhi. If the Sixers sign Nurse and re-sign Harden, Kawhi would be an interesting target for us.
Would you do something like Maxey/Harris/Korkmaz for Kawhi/Covington?
Then probably follow-up with a trade of PG13.

2024-2025 Philadelphia 76ers:
Maxey/Lowry/Jackson
Martin/Gordon/McCain
Oubre/Council/Martin
George/Yabusele
Embiid/Drummond/Bona

If we are trading Kawhi, Ballmer would only do that for a star for his new arena opening. Buy low for JA more realistic target then whatever Philly can provide. He'll need a guy like that to work some PR and sell tickets.
2023 Clippers W/L Count (51-31)
(Russ at bench 42-15)
without PG13 3-3
Without Kawhi 7-4
Without Russ 6-6

Philly would need to add quite a bit to make that considerable. Maxey is on his last rookie deal year and will be overpaid grossly soon, Harris is who he is and you'd also need to take out Korkmaz, who's scum off the court.
Philly has no picks to trade until 29, no blue chip prospects. You'd need to find a sucker of a third team for anything to go down

If that's the asking price, then yea I'd look elsewhere. Kawhi is no longer a player you break the bank for.

Kawhi is worth way more to us than anyone. He's not getting moved. If you wanted to craft a deal around PG, that's a decent starting point, but not sure it gets the deal done.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

As I said a few weeks ago. PG to the Knicks makes the most sense. They have some good assets and draft picks. I would do this deal
"A package built around some combo of Immanuel Quickley, R.J. Barrett, Obi Toppin, and a caps-lock DRAFT HAUL."

I'm just not high on RJ and would look to reroute him in such a move, and no way I see NY adding IQ. But hey, if they do, I take that in a second

Great article, basically describes everything I have talked about. Need to make some trades.

Upgrading at PF and/or C will be critical for this team.
This has been known before... but with Denver fully validated (and teams like Memphis coming back around with their frontcourt), thats where the main focus has to be.
No more of this 3/D hustle guys at lead PF.

There was nothing wrong with the design, except Morris declined rapidly after an acceptable start --and more surprisingly, Batum, who had been a rock since joining the Clippers.
The Clippers were built around the most skilled and athletic wingmen in the game. Points, rebs and assists in the 99th percentile. Who were constantly injured, let alone seldom both available at the same time. Basically, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Who also just failed their team in a Game 7 too.
Although not as badly as Kawhi and PG did,
TATUM 5-13
BROWN 8-23
13-36 combined
2-13 from 3
that just doesn't get it done and neither does this
