Have seen very little of Sensabaugh, but that move looked an awful lot like Jimmy Butler, the creating space for himself with his pivot foot and getting a good shot even against good defense. The question is whether he has the dog in him?
Once he face monsters, thrown around and has seen the abyss and once the abyss stares back at him and the abyss tells him what he is made of, thats when we’ll know if he has the dog in him.

Re: 2022-2023 College Basketball / NBA Draft
Watching those Sensabaugh clips makes me nervous about his inability to create separation. The shot making is great but can he continue that against better NBA athletes?
Edit - after watching some more clips I worry a little less because of his strength & frame. But it’s something I worry about with guys like him. If a primary skill is tough shot making, does that hold up when the shots get even harder?

Maybe it's because I'm watching a lot of Heat recently, but I noticed he does that Jimmy backdown and pivot into fadeaway jumper a lot, which is tough to guard.
Yup, same observation. His touch, IQ and motor is also Jimmy-esque.

Alright, so I suppose he's fit to play in the league. I would love this dude. Strength, length, athleticism, production, overcame adversity.

“You know the Olympics are in Paris in 2024,” Wembanyama told French broadcaster Pascal Giberné last fall, via ESPN. “And there could be no more perfect occasion for me to win my first title with the French national team. My goal is to beat Team USA in the final.”
Wemby getting a little too comfortable.

Son, become a player in the league first, then worry about all that other stuff.
No one will care even a little about what a super hyped bust does in the Olympics.

Wemby is going to be put on quite a few posters next year. He was already a target for dunkers given his length and shotblocking prowess. But now he's being crowned a chosen one and making bold goals for himself. Amen about to bless his ass a few times. And Ant-Man definitely coming for him.

Olivier-Maxence Prosper staying in the draft.
This guy could be an interesting pick. His production was low, but he has outstanding physical traits. Athleticism, size, and length all check out. He was really efficient this year as the #3 option on Marquette.

I remember the quaint times when colleges used to run the pro days. Now it's sports agencies.

Podziemski should watch tapes of how Brunson get his buckets.

I’m still kinda confused by the Jabari Smith/Brandon Miller comparison. Isn’t Brandon a small forward? While Jabari a stretch forward, maybe even stretch 5 if he puts on weight?

Re: 2022-2023 College Basketball / NBA Draft
Anyone have any strong takes on Grant Nelson of North Dakota State?
The last person to have a single digit Lane Agility Time was munchkin Jordan Bone back in 2019. Nelson did it at 6'10" 223 pounds. He also has a 7 foot wingspan.
His numbers are fantastic but he played in the damn Summit League:

His video is nasty, he's got handle and creating abilities:
I don't really see him showing up on mocks. I'd be super interested in him if he goes undrafted.

Re: 2022-2023 College Basketball / NBA Draft
Who are the foul drawers in this class? Not referring to big men who naturally have higher FTr, but rather the guards/forwards who will need to get to the line when the offense is sputtering? This class is pretty terrible in that regard.
Amari Bailey started to do it well towards the end of the year. Sasser was pretty good. Keynote George was decent. No lottery guys really jump off the page in that category which is troubling.
