Was challenged to defeat this Super Peak Team:

Post#1 » by SelakStreet » Wed May 24, 2023 5:29 am

PG: ‘17 Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City Thunder)
SG: ‘16 Avery Bradley (Boston Celtics)
SF: ‘09 LeBron James (Cleveland Cavaliers)
PF: ‘18 Stanley Johnson (Detroit Pistons)
C: ‘08 Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic)

My Team:

PG: ‘11 Derrick Rose (Chicago Bulls)
SG: ‘17 Courtney Lee
SF: ‘14 Carmelo Anthony
PF: ‘23 Kristaps Porzingis (Washington Wizards)
C: ‘14 Joakim Noah (Chicago Bulls)

I think I clearly have a chance with better production from Rose, Lee, Melo, Porzingis and Noah. Where I think my team runs better is that the offense can run through either Rose, Melo or Noah. Having those three as main ball handlers opens up the whole offense for Lee and Porzingis.

bro you gotta give us the rules for these "Super Peak Teams" I don't know why you create thread after thread assuming we know what conditions are in place. if we can pick anyone from any time there are teams which would beat both squads combined

Unless this is a janitoring competition, I'm having a hard time figuring out what "Super Peak Stanley Johnson" is. I'm just imagining a giant trash bag on fire.
Still, your team is losing this. And I pity Rose, Porzingis and Noah. Having to play with Melo and Courtney Lee... My God.

Stanley Johnson isn't an NBA caliber starter, peak Courtney Lee and Avery Bradley aren't great but won't hurt you (especially since they play the same position though Bradley would guard Derrick Rose). The other problem is the both Porzingis and Noah play better as drop coverage bigs. That's a problem with modern 4 out offenses. That and no real answer to LeBron.

Yeah, I'm sure someone texted OP this morning saying "Hey, I challenge you to defeat this super peak team with Avery Bradley & Stanley Johnson!".

It's just a weird thing to lie about lol.

Stan, I challenge you to defeat a super peak team consisting of Anthony Carter, Lance Stephenson, Al Thornton, Chris Wilcox and Willie Cauley Stein.

They all peaked in college, right?
