This play right here is our offense. Smart and white waiting for a pass to chuck a 3. Why can’t smart just cut to the basket instead. Lowry is the only defender, as Bam is way out. In pic 1 White isn't cutting to the basket because that's where the Heat defenders are, bunched up. Your own arrow leads directly to two Heat defenders.
Same for Smart. He's going to take the open corner three, which is like a 40% chance to score 3, over challenging Lowry, Strus and Love for a spectacular 1 on 3 layup.

See what I'm talking about? It's so much easier to just stand around the arc and wait for a pass and jack up a 3. So today, so NBA2K. Forget cutting to the hoop and drawing a foul, or dishing out to the big man coming who's is free now that their big man has collapsed on you, and heaven forbid just going up strong.......so much easier to just stand around out there with your hands in the air.

Yeah it's much easier to stand around the arc because that's how you create spacing. It's better offense to create shots where there aren't a million defenders. What NBA teams used to do in the 90s and 80s, even 2000s, aren't done anymore because it's really really bad offense, not because people are lazier. Players today move 100 times more than in the past, and move far more violently and quickly. Nothing about today's offense is "easy" in the sense of reducing effort. It's "easier" in the sense that it's better offense and gets better shots.

I also think if somehow we pull off the miracle & win this series, the Celtics will win it all. I get that Denver is playing great but I just feel like at that point the Celtics will play free & easy. There will be very little pressure, we will now give them a free pass if they don’t beat Denver.

Yeah the Celtics aren't the Bruins. In the unlikely event they win the next two they probably win it.

If he’s returning after four days and two plane rides of elevation, I mean…that should essentially be advantage Boston.
