As someone who thought all along that we were going to get Nurse and that it might even be a done deal, I:
1. am glad I was less stressed the past month than the rest of the board.
2. was obviously wrong and now feel like a deflated balloon.

Eh, wanted Atkinson. No idea what Griffin’s gonna bring to help the offense. Risky going with an assistant but if the players buy into his style and he’s a voice they’ll listen to then that’s all that matters.

Nurse has been elevated to God status by many based on riding Kawhi 4 years ago. And I'm sure with any loss we'll hear all about it on our PG threads. But I'll keep an open mind on Griffin. Go Bucks.

Don’t know what you’re going to get with a former assistant. The DV stuff is rough. Hope he’s got something that Bud was missing, but not feeling great at the moment.

Who knows re: Griffin? What we do know is that Nurse is a good/great tactician that has already won a championship.

Yeah a coach can be a important factor in a ship but such a small part. Just look at our ship and how many said Bud held us back. As long as Griffin is semi competent we should be good. Well here's hoping he isn't Kidd or Doc level bad.

Maybe he'll be a great coach, maybe not. I can't imagine this was the outcome the Bucks had in mind when they fired Bud though.

I would have been fine with Nurse but I wasn't married to him. I also wasn't in the interviews or part of the internal discussions. I'll keep an open mind and look forward to seeing what moves we may make this summer.

IMO Nurse was never an upgrade and we had to hire someone. Saving most judgement until we get some games under our belt. On to next season!
