Won't pretend to know if he's ready to go or not, so I'll choose to believe he is until proven otherwise. Three hopes:

1. The DV allegations have no merit. Won't discuss in depth per MDs wishes

2. Giannis extends

3. Our offense puts our players in better positions to score

I'm not mad about Giannis getting his way, that's just how this **** works. Special players get special treatment.

That would be a great deal for us.

Everything we've heard, even down to random "insiders" on reddit or wherever was that Nurse just wasn't going to be a good fit. Would be interested to know if they wanted to go his way but were just turned off by him in interviews while Griffin did really well and was apart of the same system.

I'm cautiously pessimistic about this hire.

I can’t even remember Scott Skiles being our coach, and then moving Griffin from player to the coaching bench. Such a lifetime ago.

Okay, now I see why Giannis would like a guy like Griffin.

Yup. Bottom line is Giannis got the coach he wanted. If it means he's more likely to re-sign that's literally all I care about.

I want to say this was a curveball but apparently not. I’m not upset Giannis got what he ultimately wanted.. let’s just hope AG brings FVV with him now.

So if Griffin was our coach do we beat Miami?

I think my favorite part about this hire is that it’s not a “comfortable” hire. This team is too overly confident and cocky sometimes and hiring a coach with that same kinda personality could (imo) lead to some of the same dumb stuff.

Griffins gonna come in knowing he’s got a tough task ahead and it’s not all perfect and really look to make his mark in the league.

Remember when the Packers wanted and received their buddy Ray Rhodes as coach and players ran the show straight into the ground?

Players need a boss, not a buddy

The moment that **** leaked about the stakeholders not being in unanimity about Nurse, I knew he wasn't coming here.

I bet he remembers to call a time out with .5 seconds left and gives the team a chance.

The fact that they invited Middleton to the decision meeting indicates to me that he's definitely going to be back.
