Yes, dude really worked on his shooting while recovering from that broken foot. If he regains that explosion he had in high school to add to the shooting, dude could be the steal of the draft. I would love to move up a little from our late 1st rounder to get him.

I definitely hope we prioritize shooting with our second pick, and I'm a massive advocate in trying to swindle a package to move up a bit for someone since we have a surplus of picks.

The more I read and watch about both Scoot and Miller the more scared I become of both. It seems the only things I can focus on now are the inevitable worst case scenarios for both. I think my brain is broken as a Hornets fan.

I wish Amen could miraculously learn how to shoot 3s like a champ in the next 3 weeks.

You can get to the point where you can over think things, and I think we're certainly at that point now. Forget combines and pro days just look at the tape and maybe you can get a look at the character of the person at the interviews

I trust in Mitch's drafting prowess. Sure he isn't perfect, but he is worlds better than Cho. For once, I truly believe that whoever we pick will be the better player of the two.

Awww thanks Snidely FC. I'm humbled to know that a knowledgeable scout like you would even notice the opinion of a regular joe like me. Truly humbled.... Yeah I think he is a great talent. 6'8 and can play 4 spots at times. I think we would trade back and pick between him, Jalen WIlson, or Jalen Hood Schifino. Not sold on anyone at the number 2 spot.

I did until last year, when he traded the 13th pick for the 27th pick and four seconds, like this is the NFL draft or something

And most of those picks will be sold for cash. I still wonder if that’s more of an MJ call though.

Don't think we've sold a single pick for cash under Mitch, seems unlikely that starts now IMO.

Mitch's was simply undone by his notoriously poor trading skills in that moment.

The Dude is going to make solid picks in most cases (no one is perfect, so you'll get your occasional Bouk) but he's an awful wheeler and dealer.

Welp it's official. If any of these guys get drafted they will become the new Jalen McDaniels for ME on draft day. I have tried to eliminate all players that were mentioned on this board (due to I rarely like to root for the players others like) :noway: . Give or take one or two. If any of these guys get drafted they are my YuTa lol. BTW I wouldn't be surprised to see YuTa in Charlotte one day.

I can't decide who I want more between Jalen Wilson and Nikola Durisic but one thing I can say is Nikola looked GREAT in these highlights. Showed athleticism, ability to drive and dish and excellent passing skills. He might be a pick for us since he worked out

The draft is 3 weeks from this coming Thursday (the 22nd). I imagine the workout schedule is going to really ramp up this week. Since we have 5 picks we're going to need to take a look at just about everyone. Also important to keep in mind that anyone in the draft that isn't Wembanyama can be a Hornet, Mitch should leave no stone unturned. This draft needs to be his magnum opus.

I can't wait for this draft. Should be fun with all the picks we have.. A lot of people didn't like McDaniels but he turned out to be a great asset for us. Didn't cost us anything, was serviceable while here, got us back a decent selection of picks. Can't ask for too much more...

not sure on my part, I think I would rather save the money on McDaniels and recouped the draft picks rather than to have paid zion nearly a billion and to prolly give him another near a billion more lool

I think I have made up my mind and will go with Durisic over Jalen Wilson. Reason why is if we miss out of Wilson there are other really good comperable SF's still on the board at our 2nd pick in

Colby Jones, Jordan Miller, Andre Jackson, Max Lewis, Tristan Da Silva, Jalen Slawson

Not to mention Jalen Wilson still being available there.

Plus durisic gives us insurance on Melo and can slot in many spots.

so with the #2 overall pick you would take Durisic or Jalen Wilson?
