Exactly. It’s the playoffs, do or die for the Celtics. I expected a close game down to the wire. There aren’t going to be any blowouts. This isn’t a good look for Spo, particularly.

Its not a good look for Spo, especially the decisions on that last play. But what can he really do when his stars look like that for 45 minutes of the game?? They were missing everything and shying away from the ball. What technically could Spo have done differently? I'm genuinely wondering what others think

It was a wrong decision in a key moment. But we've had 3 games to close it. It's nonsensical to look at one decision as what may potentially loose us the series.
The questions media needs to be asking Spo, is why he isn't figured out a way to get Butler back on track. Whether its schematic or motivational. He hasn't been able to push the right buttons. If we loose this series, the blame would go to Butler, Bam and Spo.

Y'all need to chill out with this. Unless you can do it, just sit it out and let the pros do what they do

No, you don't have to be an NBA athlete to know when someone isn't giving effort, he's not given much effort since he knew Miami was going up 3-0. Good lord, a lot of coaches weren't NBA players why are they coaching then?

It's usually pretty easy to see if Butler is giving effort or coasting for the game in the first quarter. I've watched him do this his whole career.

Okay, then I am sincerely interested in your opinion on why Jimmy is not giving effort? and why would he do this?

We won 2 rings and he made key plays. If we win and Bam makes key plays he'd be remembered the same. And you're the one who started this Bosh Vs Bam thing. No one was making that comparison till you did

Give Bam LeBron and Wade and it’s a **** wrap lol. End of discussion, don’t quote me again.

Bam would be clogging the hell out of the paint for those guys. No ability to stretch the floor like Bosh could

So many moments I want back. I feel hollow and depleted. This one is gonna haunt me.

Especially since part of the luck of what happened is Marcus Dumb taking an awful early shot.

I can’t believe we lost a game where we shot 47 percent from three and only had 5 turnovers

Jimmy/Bam show any pride whatsoever, the refs aren't even a factor....I can't in good conscience pin anything on the officiating when MIA beats themselves time & time again.

Officiating was horrendous. They did the best they cld to get this to a game 7. Ratings will be HUGE....thus Revenue for NBA will be HUGE. Unfortunately they f*cked us up in the process which is extremely agitating.

The question now is are they satisfied w/ the gm7 profits or do they also want Boston too to advance to the NBA Finals. If they do and the calls continue to be the same then we're all going to feel very sick by the end of gm7.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Heat have a chance.

This team had 3 chances to get it done, two chances at home. If I cant trust the stars to show up in the comfort of their home arena there is no way in hell I can trust them in what will be the most hostile environment we’ll see all year.

Understandable.

I still feel positive.

Man **** off, Heat are on the verge of being the very first team to blow a 3-0 lead, fans have every right to be disheveled atm.

Nah, you f**k off, newbie fan. I've seen every Heat playoff game since 1992 and have had my heart broken by this team a million times. In a perfect world, we'd go 98-0 and win the chip every year, but pro sports doesn't work like that. I'm not a "blame game" type of fan. I take losses like a man.

In a world where any of them are in in place of Max and it works out, Spo would have been brilliant. In a world where any of them are in for Max and it doesn't work out, Spo would be moron. All of them have major warts. There's a reason why half our rotation's next job will be bagging groceries.

Maybe if Lowry was the one who was put in the game. But High Smith? literally, no one would have an issue with that. that's literally his only role on this team, as an athletic defensive player.

You realize that doesn't actually say anything right? Someone had to be on the team and we couldn't afford better players, so some guys like this stick. Can you say with any certainty that he's even still in the NBA in 6 months?

Schematically, I don't know what else spo can do for either of them. they are limited in terms of the places on the floor where they can effectively score the ball, and he's getting them the ball in those spots for the most part. Same as he had through the other series and for all the games in this one. Now, motivation wise, that's definitely not a strong suit that Spo has ever had, so I guess that's where the difference may lie.

I really don't know. Did you notice him picking up his dribble early because I did, he got stuck far away from the basket a few times, I saw him attack the paint and then... nothing. This looks like how he played in the 2021 playoffs when the Heat got swept, the easy shots he's missing now are exactly the same shots he was missing in 2021's playoffs and nobody mentioned him injured for that series.

Butler's game is built on high effort and for whatever reason he's not putting forth the effort. If he were hurt he should have sat a game or 2, because now it's game 7 and he's had 3 1/2 low effort games.
