Last Two Minute Report Indicates No Mistake By Refs In Final Seconds Of Game 6

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon May 29, 2023 1:32 am

The NBA's Last Two Minute Report from the Boston Celtics' Game 6 win over the Miami Heat found no issues with the foul call against Al Horford on Jimmy Butler's three-point attempt with three seconds remaining.

The play had been controversial as referees moved the clock from 2.1 seconds to 3.0 seconds, which gave Derrick White enough time to convert his put back layup at the buzzer.

The other debate about the Butler play was over whether he double dribbled after losing the ball. The report said he did not, explaining that Butler "fumbles the ball out of his control when he ends his dribble, then recovers it and legally attempts a field goal."

Put of 32 items the league reviewed from the final two minutes, there were just two missed call, which both favored the Heat.

Lol OK.

Keep that narrative going, NBA. All I know is that the foul on Butler occurred at 2.9-2.8 and not 3.

There were about 32 calls in the final minutes that favoured the Heat alone. But the job was to keep the +2,5 safe and the refs did it well.

What a joke.

The league was meant to have outlawed that BS Butler pulled by creating the contact into Horford on that three.

I do not think the Heat can complain a bit about the officiating.
Benecitial to them in some decisions. Clearly.

Congrats heat on getting the whistle. Few bigger foul merchants in sports that Jimmy “whistle” Butler.

The title is a horrible way to summarize how the L2M indicates the refs screwed up Celtics big time TWICE in the last minute. Horrible.

The refs not knowing what a travel means is another story, most probably a joke, but anyways.
