Just looked up his stats. Wow, did not realize his assist rate was so good. 28% each of the past 2 years - on a slightly lower usage rate than JB. And 39% from 3, much higher than JB this season. Plus he's younger than JB.

New orleans wouldn't trade ingram for JB straight up. Perhaps if we added more to the package?

Ingram and Tatum would be a lethal wing duo. And both played for Duke.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

I try to move him for a Dane. Of course the issue is brown is in a contract year so I don't think anybody is going to trade anything of significance for him probably just a bunch of spare parts to match salaries

Ingram is a great playmaker and he's become a good defensive player as he's gained some strength. I don't see why the Pelicans trade him for Jaylen Brown.

With his political interests, he's probably the last guy who'd be happy to re-sign in Toronto.

Unless he wants to live in a different country and learn from the experience ...

He has no political interests. What has he ever done other than tweets in support of Donda Academy and the Black Israelites?

Teams want Jaylen.

We should take advantage of that.

Since we are already targeting Portland, why not Nurkic? He is an excellent screener and underrated defender. It would change our offense in every dimension. Tatum/ Nurkic pick and roll or we could use him for dribble hand off to shooters to open the 3 ball, sort of the same way Miami does with Bam Adebayo.

You can sign and trade him no?

The only way I run this Team back is by trading for a polished Veteran point guard who can facilitate and shoot by way of trading Smart brogdon or any other swinging ****

I’m lost for answers

What's the rule as regards his contract? Could we trade him?

I’m down with that but not as bullish. Originally I wanted it because he missed all nba and he’d only be making 38 per but then I realized he likely doesn’t sign an extension and tries for all nba next year which makes him the same amount or close to as Jaylens deal.

Super max is irrelevant if he’s traded. He can only sign that with TOR. It will never be allowed anywhere else no matter his all NBA status. If he’s traded here he has zero financial reason not to extend as soon as he can. He’d have to wait 6 months from the trade date though, so next December 1st.

This is the best Dane that Brown can fetch. (I'll take it.)

We messed not up trading this bum for Durant ....
We will definitely move forward as a franchise if we can move on from Jaylen

He's made of glass and is not a rim protector.

Trae Young, Mitchell or Siakim and OG are who id like tbh. Bridges would be sick but no chance to get him.

What was the trade?
This is hardly even fair, the rest of the league is playing checkers and Danny Ainge is playing 12-dimensional chess.

Lowkey wish Bron didn’t hate Boston. I’d do Brown for Bron

I think ultimately Brown isn't traded but I think he's going to be gone at the end of next season. Truly don't think Boston is dumb enough to offer this guy the supermax

#3, Simons and filler to Toroto. They start their retooling around Barnes. Simons gives them a guy who can create off the bounce. They don't mind drafting Miller since maybe being outside the country will help him beat the murder rap.

Siakam to Boston. Maybe add a pick or something. Add length and defense to the front court. Longterm Horford replacement as a good defending, good passing, decent scoring forward who can fill in at Center. Career .774 free throw % suggests he can be Horford/Brook Lopez level as a three point shooting big.

Take that woke nonsense out of here and go to truth social if you want to do that nonsense. This isn’t the forum for it
